Nice hotel close to Ft. Lauderdale Airport and por

Pros: The view and access to the ocean and the location.
Cons: FIRE ALARM!! Hopefully that has been fixed so all floors are alerted and communication from the staff.
Location: Close to the airport and cruise port. It looked like there was a lot of restaurants close by but we came in late and left early the next day.
We stayed at this hotel because we were leaving on our cruise the next day so we picked it based on the location and reviews we had read. The room was fine a bit dated but clean. The location on the beach though was beautiful. The big issue we had was that the fire alarm went off around 5:30 in the morning and wen my husband and myself left our room to go out side there were barely any people out there which was odd. There was no communication from the staff no fire truck came and the people we where travelling with never came down. The reason they didn't was that no alarm went off on their floor or anyone else's just ours. Which is a big deal if there was an actual fire and people needed to vacate the hotel. This explained why there was so few people outside, so we waited the noise of the alarms out and sat outside by the ocean until they stopped. Again no communication from the staff or an apology. I would hope that this issue was looked at and fixed right away for the safety of their patrons.

Great Spring Break.......

Pros: Great staff, comfy beds, easy access to beach, awesome pool and hot tub.
Cons: The rooms could stand to be upgraded.
My daughter and I came down for spring break and had a very relaxing time! Will definitely come again!

very disappointing experience!

Don't let the beautiful lobby fool you! I was prepaid for 5 nights but only stayed 1 night and hotel refused to give me a refund. The carpet is old and dirty. The room is small. The drawers of the dresser looks like it got all wet, are peeling inside and scary looking that I was afraid to put my clothes in it. The bathtub/bathroom is also old and dirty looking. The bed was uncomfortable.

Don't waste your money!

It looks like its on beach but its still a 20 minute walk on the busy streets. There is also no room service or bar area thats open late. The people were friendly but room was old, carpet needs replacing and bathroom was old and gross! With all the resort fees and $18 parking per dsy you can find a better and nicer hotel in the same area

Loved it but DON'T trust it!!!

I have stayed at this hotel several times and enjoyed the stay each time. Rooms are slightly outdated but overall a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, I stayed in July 2016 and my debit card information was used a week later. I stayed there again 3 weeks ago and the bank contacted me this morning that my debit card information was stolen a 2nd time. I only used my card at the hotel..... I think there is a skimming machine or a staff!!!

The hotel was great- the restaurant was not

Pros: the beds were awesome!! the view was great
Cons: restaurant service needs to be greatly improved
The staff in the restaurant were not very accommodating at all-when asked to add onions to hashbrowns (not a big deal, I realize) I was told "no, you have them plain"- the general attitude of the male service person was that we were a bother- I had a few similar incidents with this person where he seemed to be too distracted to serve. The food was ok- not hot whens served. The only plus is that it is onsite and easy to get to.

Great beach location, but ...

Pros: Location was great - close to the grocery & local eateries. Walking distance was important since everywhere is pay to park.
Cons: Happy hour for hotel restaurant would have been nice; guests should be able to play miniature golf at no extra, or only a minimal, charge.
Location: Highly recommended restaurants: Bokampers, Blue Moon Fish Co, Kaluz, & Shooters. Pier was a nice walk ($2 fee).
Very comfortable bed and nice balcony (partial ocean view was a bit of an exaggeration), but plagued by general disrepair. Started out with key card reader for our room that wouldn't work (but was promptly fixed) and a very large cockroach that crawled around the floor of the restaurant while we were eating a late supper. Noise carries extremely well, especially slamming doors. Two of three elevators (one of which was the service elevator) were out of service, leaving nine floors of guests and the hotel services to share one slow elevator that had to stop at nearly every floor. Sewer gas was very prevalent in the bathroom, but the water pressure was great & the room itself seemed clean. Miniature golf was a great idea, but too expensive to play ($12 per person).

Pleasantly surprised. Definitely worth it

Pros: close to the beach. room was clean. decent amount of channels on tv. nice size pool
Was looking for a clean place near the beach. The pool is right out back (nice size pool- tho not huge). Nice area to sit in the sun. We were right off the beach. Literally on the other side of the fence of the hotel next to the pool is the beach. Got was i was looking for. The room was clean and had a view of the ocean from my balcony. Wasnt a very large room but i wasnt planning on soending too much time in my room anyone. I needed a place to go away and this was def. to mu liking. Would def stay here if i come back.

Step out side and your at the beech

Pretty good hotel ,I would stay again. If you want a hotel that's right off the beech then this will do. Only down fall is there are no good restaurants close by but the hotel does have a restaurant inside really good food at a great price.
