"Great location. Beautiful pool area"
The staff was attentive and friendly. The beds were wonderful and the room spacious. We had a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Convenient location. Also Über is available and inexpensive to travel to surrounding areas. This was our third stay there. We will definitely return.

"Beautiful resort for Ft. Lauderdale visit"
The staff was excellent upon arrival and the rooms, although dated, are very clean and comfortable. The amenities available are fantastic - to be enjoyed by absolutely everyone. The pools & hot tub are wonderful and the activities available to keep you busy are endless! From croquet to corn hole, volleyball, etc. They even have foosball & ping pong tables to enjoy outdoors! Nobody can get bored at this place! Nice to be on the water too! The only disappointment was a rude bartender at the Pelican Landing. We read that this place had a great happy hour, only to find 1 minute after 6:00 PM that it ended at 6:00. (The info. on line for this waterfront establishment indicated that it was to open @ 5:00 PM. A one-hour happy hour???) We then waited at the bar for her to serve our drinks while several others who arrived after us were served....... Very rude and disappointing. :-(

"Beautiful Hotel With A Great View"
Stayed in the oceanfront 1 bedroom king bed suite. The room was absolutely beautiful with a lot of space. The shower is absolutely amazing. It had two shower heads. The tub was separate with spa jets. Plenty of closet space. It had two sliding doors with a huge balcony. The only problem I had was with room service. I wanted to surprise my other half with a slice of carrot cake for their birthday so I called for room service. While waiting we took a shower & watched a whole movie & it still never arrived. I called back to room service & she informed me that she told me it would take about 30 to 45 minutes for it to arrive, which by that time it had already passed. She put me on hold & checked on it. She then got back on the phone & told me it was headed out of the kitchen. After the call is waited another 35 minutes before I had to put on a robe & go downstairs to get it myself, which ruined the surprise I had planned. So I wasn't to happy about that but the rest of my stay was perfect.

"Marvelous, comfortable, convenient and friendly"
I enjoyed my stay at Cheston House. I felt right at home. The clientele was mainly peaceful, mature gentlemen like me and that was perfectly fine. The hotel is a block from the beach. The rooms are well-maintained and quite perky! The staff was warm and welcoming. It is a beach environment, so the ambiance is, in general, easy and relaxed. Some guys got together at about 5 for a civilized happy hour and a few laughs.

"Really close to the air & sea ports"
The room was way better than I could imagine. I loved it. There was a lot of traffic noise being off a busy street, but there were bars and restaurants close by. Also, it wasn't a far ride from the airport or to the sea ports for cruising. The hotel also has shuttles to the cruise port or will set up transportation.

"Great Hotel and perfect location"
The Riverside Hotel was the perfect stay for a weekend getaway. Easy to get anywhere by foot or Uber since it is located right on Las Olas- close to lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel staff provided friendly and wonderful service and great recommendations for places to try by staff at the lobby bar (Ryan). Will definitely stay here the next time we are in town.
