Decent for the cost

It's an older hotel. pool is decent the tiki bar is small. Breakfast and lunch is priced okay but dinner is crazy overpriced. Staff was nice and king bed was comfortable. Ac broke but man at late night desk was quick to move us and apologize.

Really nice hotel on the beach

Pros: We liked that you never had to leave the hotel for anything if chose not to. The restaurant was right in the hotel with indoor or outdoor dining.
Cons: No improvements needed that we saw.
Location: The location was convenient to anything you might need.
Stayed here with my daughter during spring break and loved that it wasn't crowded with college kids. It was quiet and very relaxing. The staff was great and very helpful. My daughter was so glad she had chosen this hotel and so was I.

Loved the resort

My husband and I just spent 6 days here on a belated honeymoon trip. I loved the old European style of the room. We had an interior room but we could see the ocean from the window. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was great. Prices of course being a resort especially for drinks was a little high. Loved having the beach right there and the two pools. I wish there was more to do in the area with only one shopping center across the street. I would definitely come back!

Terrible experience...

Pros: Beach location and cleanliness were about the only thing here that was pleasing.
Cons: The hotel was clean and is right on the beach which is what we were looking for. The hotel could use a remodeling soon but I’ve stayed in worse that got a 5 Star. The waiters/waitresses, groundskeepers, and cleaning staff are helpful, courteous, and polite. However, the management is something else. Every night, there was either a domestic dispute or someone partying a little too hard and became loud and disturbing. It was nearly impossible to sleep comfortably at night. We were forced to deal with that at night, and also suffer with the constant lingering scent of burning marijuana. Not only was the marijuana scent in the hallway but we also woke up to it entering our room through the floor and walls. Maintenance came to the room to figure out where the scent was coming from and discovered it was from the room below. He acknowledged the fact that there definitely was marijuana being smoked inside the building and advised us that he had smelled the scent out in the hallway for several days prior to our stay. Complaints to the front desk / management had obviously fell on deaf ears. They supposedly took care of the situation however; we woke up the next morning to the smell of burning marijuana in the hallway once again. Parking was ok and we were always able to find a spot in the lot. It was a rip off to rent the beach chairs or umbrellas ($20 for 2 chairs and an umbrella per day) but the same chairs that were at the pools were complimentary. How thoughtful. The toilet was th
Location: Boring area no nightlife at all except a run down floozy bar across the street that has terrible breakfast.

I wish I was still there!!!

This hotel was the best I've stayed at since the Waldorf but 1/3rd the price! Our rooms were cleaned every day religiously, even if it was done later because we were sleeping in. The beach setting was breathtaking. It was so calm their not a ton of kids, but kids are welcome. The beach was superclean, super close and you could even get beachside drink/food service. The food at the restaurant was fantastic; I highly recommend the blue cheeseburger with bacon. The staff was more than entertaining and accommodating. Our waiter Mario was so phenomenal! The balcony was amazing it was one of the biggest I have ever had and the patio loungers topped it all off! I'm really picky about my bed and this one was pretty dang comfy. The Beachcomber will surely become a family tradition! Incredible value I haven't experienced anywhere else!!!

OK hotel on the beach

Pros: Responsive staff.
Cons: Bed and pillows
Location: Lots of restaurants nearby. Activities within 30 minutes
The staff was good. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. AC didn't work and they were responsive and replaced it. Pool was warm enough in cool weather. Nice bar with happy hour and decent food.

Great hotel just seconds from the beach

We only stayed for 1 night before a cruise and it was amazing. Had a ocean front view room and it was so nice. Would come back again!

The perfect room for the perfect night

We knew from the beginning that it was not a fancy hotel and that the room was not going yo be luxurious but as we entered our room we were sorprised to find a beautiful place with an authentic feeling and a bacony and a view of the ocean quite amazing. The room was meant to be for us. Everything was perfect. If you visit this hotel make sure you reserve room 210. You will have a memorable stay exactly as we did.
