    Great location

This is a very old building in need of some repairs. The beds were comfortable and the room was small but clean. That being said, we loved our stay and will definitely be back. The owners are wonderful and the location is great, right on a roaring picturesque river in a beautiful small town. It was a very relaxing unexpected find.

This place was perfect. Nice little cabin setting on a river in the mountains. Rustic, but very clean. If I ever come back to the Asheville area I will definitely stay here again.

Depends on what one is looking for. Overpriced

I was a shocked at the low ceilings (about 6 feet), and the lack of adequate shelf space, no vanity in bathroom, room heater, and no free breakfast (given the price) or ready supply of coffee (only once in morning). Also no body lotions or bath amenities, etc. The shower too had no shower head to speak of, and it took a long time to get hot water in the little sink at nights. And oh, the people walking in the room above us was rather loud (along with other noises!) ... so not much privacy as well. So, it would have been okay if it were $50, but it was very overpriced at $100. The location was nice if a mountain view and river view is important... and it was close to Chimney Rock... but the trip to Asheville and back is very time consuming (if that is important) So, it depends on what one is expecting. The owners were friendly, and the place was clean.
