The property was a little dated but was well maintained and the room was bright, clean, spacious and inviting with a nicely equipped kitchenette and eating area (although the icemaker didn't work). Great water pressure and plenty of hot water for showering. Wide selection of breakfast items in bountiful supply. All the staff from cleaning ladies to front desk personnel were unfailingly friendly and helpful. No nearby shopping or dining but the Capitol South metro station is a block away which allows for easy access to restaurants, Smithsonian and restaurants. St Peter's Catholic church directly across the street. I would definitely stay again.

Nice place, but seem to always have a issue
Nice hotel. I’ve stayed here several times since it is very convenient. However, I always seem to have an issue with the type of room I am given as opposed to what I book. It is always rectified, but does become annoying. The room we were given this time after being given the wrong type of room looked like it was not finished. There was no nightstand on one side of the bed and not one lamp in the living area. The only light was an overhead in the kitchenette that was overwhelming.
