This property offers a restaurant and a coffe shop as an amenities and there is not restaurant only a small room next to the entrance where you can get a breakfast. They have a Starbucks sign but the barista doesn’t have any clue how to prepare the beverages . I ordered a white chocolate mocha and it was horrible !! My boyfriend ordered a coffee and it tasted horrible . He have a second try the next day and same thing horrible!! And it was not free!! The bathroom did not have enough toilet paper. Only 1 roll and 2 bath towels no extras neither . The clerk is not always at the entrance . If you need to request. Something or buy a snack you always have to wait . Honestly for the price I paid , I was expecting a better hotel. I stayed two nights at another hotel the same week and you can see the big difference. I will not stay in this hotel again.

Nice short stay

Pros: Staff was nice.
Cons: Bistro prices were a little high.
Location: Starbuck's is close by, and a decent selection of restaurants.
The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bistro was nice and convenient, though a little pricey.

Over priced!

I expected a lot more for $429 a night!! Not even free breakfast! I think it's pretty said that they take advantage of parents coming to see their kids graduate from college!

Not a great value for the experience

While the room was OK, the bathroom wasn't as clean as it could be, the carpet had some spots and there was a dead bug next to the bed. The carpet in the room is VERY industrial. The pool was nice (it's small, but goes to 5 ft), but we just didn't feel like the experience was worth what we paid. Also, the location is next to retail shopping, but pretty out of the way for Univ of Alabama. I would probably look for somewhere else to stay on my next visit.

Bama Dad

This was the greatest overall hotel stay I've ever had. The room was HUGE, clean and nice. The beds were extremly soft and comfortable. There was an indoor pool for the kids, which is rare in Tuscaloosa. The staff was unbelievably nice, courteous and accommodating. The breakfast was great and the waitresses were sweet and engaging. Simply put, this was everything I want from a hotel and nothing I didn't want. For the money, I can't imagine a more pleasant stay. Congrats to Marriott! You've got a winner in Tuscaloosa. And because of it, I'm going to be looking for Courtyards whenever I travel!
