Wow! We LOVED this hotel! It had so much charm and character. The restaurant food was excellent! We slept amazing in the comfortable beds. The balcony from our room was incredible. I can’t say enough great things about Antonio’s hospitality! He made us feel so welcome and comfortable in our first night in Costa Rica after a long day of traveling. We highly considered cancelling our next days itinerary to stay another night.

Beautiful view, delicious late night dinner

Pros: The staff, the cleanliness, the quiet environment, the views, the pleasant music (until after 11pm), the food.
Cons: I would suggest turning the music off after 11 pm
Location: I did not get to do anything accept to get in, eat, sleep (kind of) and then had to leave next morning again. Would have stayed longer if was able to
I am grateful that my taxi driver (hired from this hotel) was on time waiting for me at the airport once I landed. He was friendly and comfortable to talk with. Check in process at hotel was super easy and quick. I appreciated the refreshing juice they gave me during check in- was much needed. I am grateful for the quick tour of the hotel, esp where the restaurant was. After all day of flying with a layover in between and no time to grab much food, I am grateful it was open till 10pm ( I had arrived there shortly after 9pm). The two restaurant staff were amazing: very patient and so willing to accomodate me, even though I was the only one there till closing at 10pm. The food was delicious, esp the pumpkin soup. I loved the view from my balcony-seeing the town all lit up on the mountain, with a clear blue pool below and a beautiful old tree near it. I also enjoyed the quiet, pleasant music in the background by the pool. However, it was not as fun once I tried to fall asleep after 11pm. Even though the music was rather quiet, I could still hear it all night, even with a closed window and curtain, and a blanket over my head. I wish the music was turned off after 11pm but it was on all night till morning. So sleep did not happen that night when I could have used it. But I still enjoyed the stay for the night. It was clean, quiet inside and I felt very comfortable at this hotel. Thank you.

Amazing Experience

This place was charming, private sweet and had a SUPER nice staff. The staff was warm and inviting. Food was amazing. Drinks at the bar...a bit too pricey. I strongly recomend this hotel for anyone who wants to avoid tourist hotels and stay some where amazing.
