"Great hotel close to major conveniences"
This is one of our favorite hotels in DC. It is convenient to the Metro, close to Georgetown and not too far from DCA. The room sizes are more than adequate. We always travel with one or two older children, so adding an extra bed was no problem. The staff is very friendly and responsive. It also has a nice workout area with nicely updated equipment and good space...not crammed like so many city hotels.

"Fun hotel in Dupont Circle"
My recent stay was pretty good. The hotel staff were extremely nice, especially the housekeeping staff. The room was updated as well as the entry. The only thing that bothered me was the hotel bar/restaurant had an awkward layout, was expensive and the bar closed by 11. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend though, not a typical hotel atmosphere and very close to public transportation. Besides Dupont Circle is a lovely area. PS hotel is LGBT friendly, my girlfriend and I were treated like humans! Hurrah!

"Good Hotel; Great Breakfast; Krispy Kreme and Dupont Circle"
Spent a family spring break trip in DC (Museum Overdose). The hotel is standard 3 stars Marriott inside. The rooms were nice, the bed comfortable - perfectly adequate for family or business travel. Our room was a junior suite with a sleeper sofa for our daughter and a very small kitchenette. We did not need that because the breakfast buffet was great! Make your own waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, sausage and eggs. A great way to start the day. DuPont Circle is 2 short blocks away with it's Metro station to connect you anywhere in the city. We parked in the hotel’s below ground garage and never pulled out the car again. Beside the escalator to the Metro is a Krispy Kreme store. My daughter’s first taste of a donut strait out of the maker will rival her ‘what was best about this trip’. DuPont Circle is loaded with restaurants. We ate at Pizzeria Paradiso less than 500 feet from the hotel and had a great meal. Good hotel, great location.

"Hotel with Charm"
We were stranded in town because of car troubles, and I found this charming hotel on Travelocity, which fortunately turned out to be right across the street from the garage. I highly recommend The Baron Hotel to anyone looking for a hotel with charm, one that's quiet, and is close to several great restaurants along with a Trader Joes. The hotel also has an English-style pub on the lower level that is stocked a large list of microbrews. Getting around was easy with transportation via walking or cab, but the metro is only two blocks away and was a great way to travel to visit the zoo and the museums. I would gladly stay here again!
