Although loud, this location is great. Rooms are small with hot water radiators, windows do open onto a loud street. The beds are in need of new mattresses or at the very least memory foam toppers as they are saggy and you can really feel the springs. Otherwise the hotel felt safe and convenient with friendly staff for the price, which in SF is pretty affordable.

Room small, noisy, floor creaky…everything so old such as paint carpet and bad bed. Should not recommend teveryone...hot water have to ask receptionist all the time that was inconvienence and not professional hotel. Good location that is it!

The hotel is old. Besides the reception hall, the rooms are a bit dirty. The wall is not sound-proof so I can hear the noise from outside and upstairs when people walking and talking. It make us hard to get into sleep. The door of the first room we were assigned cannot be locked. The staff is helpful and helped us change to another room though. There is a heater in the room, but there is no central system, so the room temperature does not stay constant. It changes when we open or close the window. Also, the window does not have a screen. The good thing I would say is that, it is located at the Chinatown. So it is a good location to explore the area.

Chinatown gem
This was my third visit to Grant Plaza. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and the neighborhood is safe and fun. It is also a total bargain. Can’t wait to come back.

Very very basic, absolutely no facilities rooms are so small, you have to step over your suitcases to get around the bed, still using covid as an excuse not for housekeeping to clean rooms. In my opinion pay a little more and stay somewhere else

great spot if you aren’t too picky! room was clean, check in was easy, the parking lot was a bit of a walk (5-10min) away from the hotel but it provided what it needed to provide. thanks for accommodating us!
