Heat did not work in the bathroom. It was finally resolved the next day. Valet services were not available. Guests were expected to park their vehicles in the downhill packing lot and walk back up the steep hill to the hotel entrance. As a older guest, it was not ideal; the hill was slippery in the rain.

The Castle hotel was beautiful. I've wanted to stay here for years! It was disappointing that the spa was not open as the website originally said it would be open in March 2024. The other thing that was disturbing was receiving emails stating that the front doors would locked after midnight. If you have plans to be out for an event, that is concerning. Everything else was wonderful!

A gem
I lived in Westchester for years and never knew about this amazing gem. The Castle is lovely inside and out, the rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and everyone on staff is friendly and helpful. The location is really convenient, and once you figure it out, the parking makes sense. We were there in the off-season for the restaurant, pool, and spa, which was actually very nice and quiet. There was an electric kettle in the room, which was really convenient for this tea lover. There was a leak in the room next door and the front desk reached out to make sure their clean up efforts weren't disruptive, which was very thoughtful. We will definitely be back again soon (hopefully). The only thing that wasn't amazing was the continental breakfast, which was lovingly displayed, clean, and in a gorgeous location, but the food itself was kind of uninspired, but for a free breakfast it was fine. (There are really good bagels about 5 minutes away, should you want real NY bagels)

Have stayed here on a few occasions , it's a beautiful property in a beautiful setting . Very clean , big spacious rooms and helpful staff . A good continental breakfast is available . The only issue this time , refrigerator in room not working and issues with tv , I also felt that because the restaurant , spa, and lounge were not open its not really fair to charge resort fee . I do understand its off season .
