Do not be fooled! The “inn at Penn Cove” is NOT at all the same as the lovely photos on their website. It is a different place altogether, and is unoccupied and falling apart. I will be reporting them to the authorities.

We walked into a dirty courtyard ie garbage old rug hanging on fence, lots of cats. Open the door to smoke odor, saggy bed , holey carpet. DID NOT STAY. Hope to be reimbursed!!!

It was quiet, the gal managing put fans in our windows which helped cool in the evenings, no bar soap but plenty of shampoo, strange checkin process via texts.

Beautiful old property, the room was very clean, but the rest of the property is clearly undergoing renovation.. nice staff, texted to confirm our arrival. They are a work in progress... There is a restaurant that is downstairs, still not completely open after covid...

We stayed at the wisteria house. At check in, the lady/owner was still in the place cleaning it when we arrived. Granted we had make the reservations only 2 hours in advance, but it shouldn’t have been available if it wasn’t ready. The place def has good heaters and shower was nice. But only had Half a roll TP, a stove that didn’t work, 2 forks, 1 spoon, cutting board but no knife. Coffee put had old grounds in it with mold, dresser was propped up To be level with small pliers. Side door was closed with tape!! Don’t open the attic door above the bed, just don’t. The owner was really nice but that doesn’t make up for the total rip off of a place. Has great potential, but the owners fail 90%

This is a bed & breakfast in a very old house.

Pros: In the heart of this small town.
Cons: Someone other than the owners to manage it
Location: Great place to take trips around the island
Old house (1904) room on second floor. Older couple got the first floor level behind the Thai kitchen which is not part of this place. Breakfast was two coupons at a local restaurant that was very good. The room was large - bed so - so. Bathroom widow was stuck - could no open. Owners are nice but in over their heads on maintenance.

Quaint but neglected

Pros: There was a quaintness about it
Cons: The screen door, the shower, the " refrigerator " and the toilet paper roll
Location: Great location!! Just a few blocks from a darling little "town"
The owners were very nice from the beginning. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the bath tub cute, but shower undesirable....what really turned me off was the screen door entering the Inn was torn, clearly needed repair and was not addressed. How can you invite people to enjoy your Inn and the very first thing they see is a torn screen door?
