While we were at the hotel a homeless man came in and assaulted one of the other guest in the room next to us. I had to call the police because the other guest was yelling at the homeless man to get out of there. The staff didn’t know where the homeless man went or where he would reappear in the hotel. Also, I needed the sheets changed on my children’s bed and when they removed the sheets we saw that there was a giant blood or poop stain on the mattress that my kids had been sleeping on top of. Also, the TV remote did not let us switch between channels. We had to manually enter each channel by number.

While the homeless man's arrest within 30 minutes shows a prompt response, it doesn't diminish the impact on your stay.We remain committed to providing a safe and comfortable experience for all our guests and will strive to regain your trust in the future.

Room smells like cigarettes, there is no elevator. I booked an paid for my room in March, was still not able to get a ground floor room. The bathroom had little black curly hairs along the tub and toilet. Disgusting, will never stay here again.

I liked the location and the staff was amazing. The room had little sound proofing & the people above walked & banged around each night from 3:00 am on. We had to check out at 4 am to go home & get some sleep.

The door to our shower room was off its hinges, the shower head was full of hard water deposit, and water shot up from the back of our faucet in the wash room area. But the most alarming was in the swim pool. Children under the age of 10 were playing with the controls of the hot tub and jumping into it. Plus, two of them were drinking from the tub. The parents did nothing to check them, and there was diving and jumping into the main pool, despite the warnings on the wall not to. No one from the office area ever came out to check if everything was ok. I also told the young lady and gentleman that someone had place a piece of wood to keep the side door open. Neither one of the employees even made an effort to go check. It was like " Oh well". I will not stay there again. Safety is not one of their concerns, and they seem to stay in the room behind the counter than paying attention to the customers who walked by there. The La Quinta in Illinois was so much better, and their pool was also cleaner.

Our room was just fine but we are awakened multiple times during the night due to loud motor vehicle sounds, or street noise. We also had multiple trains that were quite loud.
