I was disappointed with my stay.
It took over an hour to connect to wifi when checked in, the Tv had no signal & the room was not cool, I was sweating within minutes of being g in the room.
All the above was addressed and staff were extremely lovely and helpful, but it was frustrating this occurred.
That evening I then ordered room service from the limited late night menu. It was ordered at 9:48 and did not arrive until 10:32 ( ham & cheese toastie with chips, so a very simple menu item). The sandwich was stone cold and chips just warm on arrival. It was not edible & such variants in temperature can cause salmonella.
I called reception to advise I would not eat it & request it be removed from the bill, which they agreed to.
I was offered complimentary breakfast for the cold meal, which was a nice gesture, but did not help my hungry 8yo on the evening we ordered room service after returning from the cricket.
I unfortunately would not stay at this hotel again, not recommend it.
