Excellent location downtown Dubai. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Special mention to Terri on reception for her welcoming friendly service. Some improvements taking place at the moment mean that the man with the drill was a bit annoying but hopefully this will finish soon.

Vida has become part of Marriott Autograph collection and is now known has Hotel Boulevard. It is an excellent hotel (with only one minor issue). The location is superb - walking distance to Dubai Mall, Souk Al Bahar etc. Breakfast buffet is excellent; the staff are wonderful; and the rooms are spacious. We encountered two irritations though. There was an electric socket on one side of the bed and not another. Overnight charging while having one’s alarm/phone nearby wasn’t possible for one of us. More importantly, the lights in the bathroom are low wattage. Bathroom - especially area around the mirror - is poorly lit making it very difficult to shave, put make up on etc. at the very least, the makeup magnifying mirror should have sufficiently bright lights.

It was a nice property and staff are friendly, I can't really complain, just breakfast was a little disappointing.

3 star hotel at best.
I checked in after 45 minutes waiting in line they had only one person for check in. Once entered the junior suite found out about very loud construction going on next door. Hotel trapped me by not mentioning it and when I complained they said it’s not in our control but we thought we will hide from you. After speaking the manager they moved me to another suite with less sound. But the windows are terrible you can hear every automobile from the main road facing the hotel. 3 star hotel at best.
