This little hotel is just lovely. Its location is close to the harbor, dining, markets and upscale shopping. The bathrooms are just beautiful and the linens are top flight. But the best part of this hotel by far is the staff. They were so accommodating and helpful and were eager to assist with anything you could ask for.

A boutique hotel with First Class Service
The Hotel DeBrett is located on a quiet street in the central business district of Auckland. This is a boutique hotel, but offers first class service from the friendly greeting at the front desk to the clean and well appointed room. It is close to Queen Street and within easy walking distance of most of the major tourist attractions in downtown Auckland. Numerous dining options are nearby, but the hotel restaurant is outstanding; especially for breakfast ( I highly recommend the French Toast and the Eggs Benedict).

Was very convenient for sightseeing ,the music at breakfast was far to loud especially when our room overlooked the breakfast area.you could only pick one meal from a small breakfast selection , extras had to be paid for never had this in all the years we have traveled.

The de Brett is the perfect boutique hotel. It is stylish and elegant without being fussy. The linens and other amenities are wonderful. The restaurant has limited menu options, but all are tasty and presented beautifully. The location is perfect—close to everything, but on a quiet side street that is welcoming. I recommend it highly.

This is the cutest boutique hotel I’ve stayed in. Awesome downtown location with an excellent restaurant. Bed was comfy and the bathroom was extremely well appointed. I lived all the little touches and how eco friendly they are. Stay here when you come to Auckland.
