Not a real four star hotel

Mediocre hotel. Too big to be a "resort style". Staff didn't seem happy or eager to great you. More of a business hotel than a vacation hotel. Eh...

Checked in and the girl said it was for a standard room. I verified that it was for 2 queen beds. Requested water view, none available since hotel sold out. Got to room. Room was dusty, hair in tub, black cloth box spring covers with tears. Beds were only double beds. Housekeeping in the hallway and she told me they were double beds. Went back to lobby to get room changed (had the same girl). She insisted they were queen beds. Told her the housekeeper who changed the beds said they were double beds. She apologized and said no other rooms available. Asked for a manager. Came back few minutes later and moved me from harbor tower to seaport tower and was rude. This room was also dusty, hair on floor in bathroom, black cover on box springs with tears. Had 3 people staying in room and every day they only provided towels/washcloths for 2 people. Had to call everyday for extra. Have stayed here 7 times in last few years...think it's time to move on to a nicer hotel with better service

Nice Hotel with many positives!

Perfect location overlooking the Habour. We were on floor 23 facing the water, so the view for the Fourth of July fireworks display was amazing! We could see three of the four barges, which the kids loved. The pool was nice, and the poolside service was fantastic (Frank was exceptional). The downside - with two massive towers, the lineups for the elevators got ridiculous at times. Luckily, we were never in a rush but it did get a tad bit annoying, especially with tired kids at the end of a long day. Overall though, very pleased with our stay. The convenience of having Hertz in the lobby helped as well. Also loved that Seaport Village was right outside the doors!
