"Nice hotel close to the Inner Harbor"
When we arrived the valet staff was very helpful. The hotel was older but had been "freshened up". The front desk staff that checked us in were very efficient. We were in our room in 15 minutes from start to finish. After a nice, comfortable nights rest we got up and went to the bakery for some coffee. The only downfall was the in room coffee maker was very tiny and not much to work with. I would recommend this hotel for either business or pleasure

"One night stay in Hotel RL"
We decided to book a room for one night so we could attend a concert in Baltimore. We live about an hour out of town and decided a night out would be far preferable to battling post-concert traffic in an area we aren't very familiar with. This hotel is only a few blocks from the Baltimore Arena, so it was perfect to check in, relax a while, and then walk to the concert. Valet parking seemed a bit pricey, but honestly it isn't that bad when compared with Baltimore Arena "event parking" prices. People who know the area better could probably find something cheaper, but for us it was worth the extra few dollars to not have to worry about it. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. I only had two... comments (I hesitate to call them complaints, because they weren't that serious). 1) We ended up in the disability accessible room (609). Normally I wouldn't have thought twice about this; however, our bathroom didn't have a door. No door! Not even a curtain. I assume that the room's layout would not have been considered accessible if there had been a door. I was there with my husband, so there isn't a whole lot of mystery left when it comes to what happens in the bathroom. But still... I prefer to have some privacy when I use the bathroom. 2) We were on the 6th floor but you can hear a fair amount of street noise. Normal nights are probably fine, but post event crowds were a little boisterous/noisy.

"Ravens Game"
Love this hotel .. staff and room was great .. even valet parking was reasonable .. should I travel to Baltimore again I would consider staying here except a bit far from M & T Stadium. We got an Unber driver to take us to stadium which worked great but after game we tried to get another Uber ride .. we couldn't find our driver long story short .. we had to walk back to Brookshire and that was a hike .. otherwise it was a good place to stay. Really loved the staff very friendly and helpful!!

"Location, Location, Location"
The rooms are small, but very clean. If you don't plan to spend a lot of time in your room they are more than adequate. The hotel itself has some lovely old-world details and the lobby is spacious and comfortable. There are lots of mid-level restaurants in the area. The big plus is the location. You are just a few minutes walk from the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards in one direction and the Walters Museum in the other. From the Harbor, you can take the water taxi to many other parts of the city. There is also a wonderful promenade along the water where you can see boats or shop/eat at a variety of places.

"A welcoming place to stay"
Took a few days with my daughter to explore Baltimore. As soon as she spoke to Paul to make the reservation-we knew this was going to be a great place. The staff made us feel so welcomed from the moment we arrived. Free parking is a major PLUS! Hotel Brexton is on the Nation Historic Registry and has been lovingly restored. The property is conveniently located in a lovely section of Mount Vernon and a FREE bus service to the Inner Harbor is right around the corner. You never have to use your car during your stay because you can walk to most museums and attractions or take free bus and water taxis! Our room was lovely, beds super comfy and everything was extremely clean. Free breakfast daily and coffee was available 24/7. Milton and Eboni are true gems in the industry. They recommended several places to try for dinner and each was spectacular. Milton even arranged car service to Supanos and the owner of the restaurant picked us up! We were so pleased that we decided to extend our stay! We highly recommend Hotel Brexton and we WILL be back.

    Downtown Baltimore Hotel Guide

Baltimore, Maryland, was once one of the most important port cities in the United States, and its maritime tradition can be seen all around the city. The old port has had a face lift in recent years and has transformed into a modern, cosmopolitan gem. Book a stay in one of the top hotels in Downtown Baltimore and let yourself be beguiled by Charm City.

    Downtown Baltimore

While the Inner Harbor area draws the crowds, the downtown area represents the "real" Baltimore. Lexington Market is an institution in the city and has been running for over 200 years. You can easily spend several hours here, browsing stalls selling all sorts of local produce, meat, and freshly caught fish. The city hall is a splendid building with some great exhibits inside that showcase local art and history. Baltimore is famous as the hometown of "The Star-Spangled Banner," and the nearby Flag House is a great place to brush up on a little history.

If you're staying in a hotel near Downtown Baltimore, you'll also be close to the jewel in the city's crown, the Inner Harbor. This area has been rejuvenated into a hub of activity and has a huge variety of shops, bars, and restaurants. You can also tour several old ships, including the USS Constellation, one of the last sail-driven warships ever built. Be sure not to miss the incredible National Aquarium, one of the biggest and best anywhere in the world. The aquarium can get busy, but most Downtown Baltimore hotels will be able to help you book your tickets in advance.
