Amazing, but not for everyone
Staying with Ricardo was one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip. Going to sleep with the sounds of jungle, waking up with natural sunlight, observing birds while brushing teeth ... It is an experience no fancy resort can provide. If you are troubled to sleep in a windowless room (we've not experienced any mosquitos), are bothered by the level of privacy more common to camping, not a hotel room, and prefer a swimming pool over a serene garden - then this place is not for you.

Rustic cabins near beach. Grounds are planted beautifully. No AC, no frills. If you are outdoorsy, you will love it. Your pampered mom probably will not. Best part is the host. Ricardo is full of tales of his life/journeys and keeps you captivated with them during the entire stay. He brings you odd fruits from the trees and has tale about them as well. Then he shows you how to eat them (or how the monkeys eat them). Toilet is upstairs with an open wall in front of you as you sit (head level). As Ricardo put it, a Lou with a view. You can watch the hummingbirds while you do your business. Bats also fly all around your room at night too. Very cool to watch.

Fredeligt privat sted.
Hvis man søger et privat lille fredeligt sted kan dette anbefales. Primitivt, men i meget fin stand og rent. Stranden ligger lige for enden af vejen i gå afstand. Der er ikke andet end natur og dyreliv rundt om de 3 huset som er stedet. En autentisk oplevelse af, hvordan det var før muret hoteller og campingpladser skød op i området. Rigtig sød vært.
