Fine resort hotel with excellent facilities

The Omni Championsgate is an excellent resort hotel. Very attractive, with lots of amenities and a relatively convenient location. The only "negative" was the room. I booked the room for 3 adults. When we arrived, the room had only one double bed. I assume that a room booked specifically for 3 adults would have sufficient beds to accommodate 3 adults. When I contacted the hotel front desk, I was told that the room only had a double bed and that no rooms with an additional bed or alternative room was available. Remarkably, the hotel person did NOT offer to have a roll away delivered to the room. I attempted to escalate the situation to the manager and got no resolution. It was only after I called Travelocity that someone from Travelocity contacted the hotel and arranged to have a roll away delivered to the room. Also, I was told that a receipt would be emailed to me. I checked out yesterday around 11:30 a.m. and still have received no receipt

Needs updating in rooms

Rooms are very dated ( cracks in the sealing and walls, pealing wallpaper...) and for the price it’s not worth it. The pools are really nice and fun. Staff is a bit on the snobby side. Also to charge $20 a night for self parking...just add it into the price of the room if you want to charge that...such a joke. Nickel and diming. Will be staying on Disney property next time.

Pros: Lazy river, wave pool, lots of lounge chairs, restaurant, upscale feel even though lots of families there.
Location: We never left the hotel but Disney is nearby, Sea World and Universal if interested
After five days at Disney for a girls 50th birthday celebration this was a wonderful change of pace. Relaxing, friendly and felt more upscale.

Don’t book with exlpedia

I booked through Expedia and I wish that I wouldn’t have for the third time this week! I received a handicapped room that didn’t even have a regular bed sheet on it the towels in the room or soaking wet and I was facing an air conditioning unit

Beautiful Hotel

This particular resort is conveniently located to Disney. However with all of the amenities there is no need to leave the resort at all. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice.

Great pool areas
