CAUTION: This establishment has essentially been converted into low-income housing and is unfit for regular travelers. My father occasionally visits me from out of state, and this used to be my go-to hotel for him to stay at due to the convenient location and (formerly) nice accommodations. However, this year, the lodging conditions were horrendous (rooms smelled of cigarette smoke, dirty beds & floors, broken smoke alarms, broken lamps & missing light bulbs, missing TV, incredibly noisy neighbors, the property seems to now be frequented by transients & homeless individuals, noisy pets & animal feces in the hall, & breakfast/coffee no longer provided). I checked my father out early after 1 night's stay to find more suitable lodging. The staff at Suburban Studios said they would refund me the rest of my father's stay, but it has been very difficult getting assistance from hotel management. The staff at Travelocity has spent a whole week just trying to get a response from them. I don't understand how this property has declined so severely, but the fact that the next-door Chili's restaurant has installed a parking lot security tower speaks volumes.

DO NOT GO HERE
The place was worn down. The front desk sent us across the parking lot to the wrong building first. Keep in mind is was -8 outside and we awrere on the second floor carrying as much as possible to make as few trips as possible. Only to find out our room was in the building of the front office. First room didnt have a heater working. They did quickly put us in a different room on the third floor. That room had a working heater but the door lock didnt work well and the metal plate was missing on the door jam. There were people in all the stairwells using drugs and sleeping. Felt very unsafe with my 9 yr old with us.

We booked and paid for our trip 2 months in advance, then when we got to the property, the name was different than what we booked under. When we checked in the guy said he needed our card for the file which is normal, but then he charged us 166 for the night. When my husband went to the office after we discovered we were charged he was told to come back in the morning and the manager would take care of it. So he did, and he was told they would give him a call as soon as it was. We never heard from them, so i checked our account again, only to find out we were now charged another 166. He went back to the office nd got another run around, thenguy called the owner and pwe spoke on speaker phone. He assured us he would take care of it and said he would email us his contact info. He never did. It took a week to get the money back. Good thing we had money in our savings that we could transfer over, otherwise we would have been stranded in omaha with no money and no way to get home. The building smelt like pot, trash overflowing in the outside trashcans, local homeless people would come up to us and ask for money and cigarettes, overall did not feel safe. People were letting whoever in thru the security door. The room had trash in the trash can, a musty smell to the room, looked nice in pictures, but very unpleasant stay. Will not be staying there ever again.

Nice Place to Stay.
The hotels changed from TownePlace to Suburban Studios during our stay. Both were excellent. Same great staff, especially Aaron and Ian, who were both very helpful. Rooms are nice and clean. Quiet. Easy access to many restaurants and businesses. Felt safe and enjoyed our stay.
