Three beach cruisers are yours to use during your stay, including a bicycle built for two. Bike up to Flagler Ave, just minutes away, for great restaurant (al fresco dining), shops, and people watching! Always wanted to try surfing? New Smyrna Beach is a Florida surfing mecca, and we have an 8' longboard which is perfect for novices. If you already surf the big waves, the inlet is just 3 miles north up the beach, and you can drive your car on our beaches! For quiet nights in, the unit has three flat-screen TVs, a large one downstairs wall-mounted above our electric fireplace. Two more flat screens in the bedrooms, all with DVD players ( 2 are Blue Ray ) and Cable HDMI TV and Wifi in all rooms. The garage in the back of the home has a washer and dryer. Just south of New Smyrna Beach is the Canaveral National Seashore, a 57,000-acre national park nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River. Since ancient times, this barrier island has provided sanctuary to both people and wildlife. Many threatened and endangered species find refuge here, including sea turtles who nest on its shores. For a truly relaxing experience, the undeveloped Playalinda Beach was rated "Quietest Beach" by TripAdvisor in 2013 and one of USA Today's Top Ten Florida Beaches in 2015. This is also a perfect place to catch a view and photos of a rocket launch from the JFK Space Center, just south of the park.
