We booked this for the pool and were unable to use it. The staff couldn’t find my reservation even though I provided my name and she took my phone so she had my spelling. The pool had a dead bird in it and while it was locked, it would have been nice if the hotel hooked us up with another one so we could use one. The hotel also smelled of smoke, so it was disappointing. It worked for giving us a place to sleep but that was it.

Our apologies for a disappointing experience while you were with us. We have put an alert online that our pool is temporarily down, we are working to get the parts and have it repaired. We did clean out the debris in the pool the next morning, but apologize for what got into it the night before. Unfortunately the excessive rain this year has made it difficult to keep our outdoor pool in great condition. While I'm not sure why we did not receive the reservation that you booked, we are sorry that you were disappointed with what we had available. We are also currently doing some deep-cleaning and airing out where a previous guest violated our non-smoking policy, and apologize for how it affected the over-all environment during your time here. Adequate for a one night stay

Hotel is adjacent to a truck stop and most guests appeared to be truckers and utility, and construction workers. As a woman traveling solo, I would have preferred to stay elsewhere. That said, staff were welcoming and accommodating. Nearby outlet mall is almost completely vacant. Breakfast is more a coffee and cereal bar than regular breakfast. The room was adequate and quiet.

We're glad you enjoyed our breakfast selections. While the outlet mall is a little bare, for shopping I recommend trying out our historic downtown area as we've recently seen growth and some new stores and businesses breathing new life to our courthouse square. It's a quick 5 minutes away, and we can easily help with directions if you are interested. I'm sorry to here you were a bit uncomfortable as a solo woman traveling. We want to be a place that helps all of our guests feel comfortable and secure, but we appreciate you staying with us either way, and sincerely hope you have a safe trip. -Sondra Smith, GM Quality Inn Hillsboro, Tx

For the price it was very nice. Bed was bouncy and a lot of support when the wife and I banged all night long

Simply The Best !!

From the friendly smiling face at check in, to the hospitality of the housekeeping staff, our stay at the Holiday Inn Express was the most pleasant one we have had in a long time. The room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back to stay again. Our thanks to the management for hiring the "Best". employees who show how much they like their jobs, and how much they enjoy keeping the guest happy. We even received a follow up call the next day after we left the hotel making sure we were happy with our stay. Wow, you don't get that everyday. Our hats off to X for all her help.

Wonderful Staff

The staff are wonderful, the breakfast bar is great and tended by a nice lady. The hotel and my room were clean. The hotel needs renovating, it's showing age and probably has not been renovated in several years. My air conditioner did not have a wall thermostat and even though it did blow cold air it gave off a mildew smell. Bottom line, a decent place with good rates,but really needs a "makeover".
