Note: No hot tub. Staff was excellent and the rooms were clean. It does smell like stale smoke in the rooms, even though they were advertised as no smoking. My biggest grievance was that the hot tub looks to be permanently closed. After a long day of traveling in a car, a hotel with a hot tub was my only requirement. I booked online and the pictures posted are clearly old. The indoor pool was heavily chlorinated to the point where you couldn’t see to the bottom and very chilly. The hotel is also by the time change line. Your phone will constantly flip between Eastern and Central time zones. It made it a little sticky when trying to figure out alarms in the morning. Other than that, it’s a good place to stay for a night. Decent rate, clean rooms, and HOT showers.

Nice place, room clean, was a lot of noise in the hall but at a reasonable time it got quiet and stayed quiet… Was very happy about that…would recommend this place

NOT Recommended

Unfortuneately my experience with this Comfort Inn was a series of unsatisfactory comments. My room for four nights, a king suite smoking room had an odor so bad, I had to purchase my own air freshener, the sofa has stains on both the seat and arms. My blanket had a burn hole in it. The hallway had a strong odor of marjuana, later to find out it was coming from the room next to mine, two co-workers also had rooms. One of my co-workers could not shut her hallway door without forcing it shut. We returned to the room early in the day (2:30) only to find 5 rooms with their doors propped open and the housekeeper was at the opposite end of the hall, the open rooms were not being monitored. One of them were mine! All my personal belongings exposed to the public. The housekeeper had no idea if I belonged to that room or if I was a stranger walking into the room. The front desk service staff appeared as if they came right in from the street, not professional at all. In fact, as I checked out on Friday, the police were there and escorted the person that checked me out, into a police car and left with her. There were no comment cards to be found and no posting of who the manager on duty was.
