The surrounding area was beautiful. The property itself was disgusting. From walking into the first “cabin” and immediately asking for a refund to being shown a second cabin and deciding to try it even though it was pretty disappointing and had multiple candles burning to cover up the smells. After the airing the place out for awhile from the headache inducing candle overkill, smelling body odor from previous guests on the bed and then when we turned the lights down at night being greeted by a host of cockroaches. They were closed for the night so when I went to check out the following morning and informed them that they had cockroaches, the individual on the phone said “thanks for letting us know again” when I had never told them in the first place so I’m assuming a previous guest also reported it. And then the audacity to not offer a refund or even just apologize. I’m flabbergasted by the low quality cabin there, the inflated cost, and the disgusting state of the whole experience. Cabin 122 should be avoided at all costs but from what I saw there, honestly every one of them should be. Travelocity as a site should no longer even advertise them because it legit showed me that they don’t even look into what they advertise.

We do not have a cockroach issue in our cottages. There may be one or two that visits, who does not get in their own homes, and to be told that our cottages are infested with insane amount of cockroaches is an unfair damaging sweeping statement. I still get to wait for the photos that you have taken…

It was nice that this place was set back from noise and very peaceful setting in the woods. But the walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything that goes on in the cottage beside you since a wall is shared. There were some spiders and a yellow jacket that I had to kill. And the toliet is not attached at the bottom when you sit down you feel like it’s going to cave in. Also the table was very wobbly, bugs and cobwebs in the ceiling and a big gap at bottom of both doors that allows for more bugs to get in. The bed had some lint/ grass on the sheets. The TV and heater was nice and it was nice to have a microwave and refrigerator in the unit. And parking was fine.

It has a lot of potential. My entry was a complete hazard. The step up was missing and it was covered in ice. Muddy, not adequate parking and not communication with the check in process. Phone service (no cell towers near by so any communications with the property management, I would have to leave the site to call them) no phone in suites. No wifi. But the place has potential, but the set up was odd, the furnishings did not make sense and only added to clutter the linens and towels, etc. were old rip or torn. I did not feel clean while in the room. The person trying to help, I believe her name was Elizabeth was very nice and tried to be helpful, but that could not overcome the other deficiencies

Not luxury at all more cabin-like

Pros: jacuzzi tub & electric fireplace
Cons: add check in/out instructions & mention there is no phone in the cottage/cabin. make it clear that it is a cabin-like feel & memory foam mattress

Let me say I feel like this place is overpriced. For the price & from their website, I got the impression of luxury, but I was disappointed to find more of a cabin. I would've been more comfortable paying fifty dollars less. Granted it had an electric fireplace & jacuzzi tub, but I was expecting more space/luxury. I did not need the kitchenette nor was I there to go skiing at Snow Trails...so maybe that is where they can justify the price. I was there for my husband's birthday so it was meant to be romantic. In addition & through no fault of the hotel, there was a party going on in the next cabin & it was snowing, so parking was inconvenient. We did try to make the best of it & enjoyed the tub (only seemed to fit 1 person though) & fireplace. Unfortunately, the bed was uncomfortable (memory foam I think) so I didn't get much sleep. There was no clear instructions on how to check in/out only to call them when we got close. It was very strange not to have a check in office & no phone in the room. I had to use my cell phone to call to let them know we were settled/"checked in". There also wasn't any hangers for our coats unless you wanted to hang them on hooks over the kitchenette & let the snow drip onto the dishes, etc.
