Needs major updates. Room looks old. No coffee maker in room. Bed was super hard. The property smells like weed. But i got a cheap deal so i cant complain too much.

The property is under new management. It was like staying in a college dorm. First impression was stark, dark, and dirty. Four card readers were on the front desk. One was so dusty someone had drawn a smiley face in the dust. When I pointed it out to staff they just shrugged & carried on. It was 5 days before it was poorly dusted. There was NO BREAKFAST as promised on the website. The suite kitchen was bare, no plates, glasses, silverware, or coffee maker. Two different days during our stay the fire alarm sounded, once at 1030pm and once at 530pm. NO ATTEMPT was made to evacuate guests or communicate information to those who made it outside to the parking lot. The fire department DID NOT RESPOND either time. Both times the front desk person remained behind the desk. No one came out to the parking lot to give an "all clear" to guests. Don't risk your life!

Lobby was really dusty and dirty. Carpet in room was stained. Key cards had to be rekeyed twice a day which was so frustrating. Half the time there was no one at the front desk. One shining point: location. Close to shopping and dining with a view that overlooks the valley and Sandia Mountains.

This hotel smells bad. The room smelled like old smoke, food, and air freshener. The side entry smelled like vomit. There was trash under the beds. Blood spots on the sheets. The staff was very nice. It was a quiet hotel. And it was inexpensive. So if all you need is a cheap place to stay that’s quiet, and you don’t mind bad smells, then this is the place for you.
