This wasn't the first time we stayed at this property. We've been staying here for 15 years due to work and recreation that bring us to the Phx area. Previously this hotel was a Holiday Inn Express. Since it's changed to a Best Western, the overall quality of the hotel has decreased. There is no daily housekeeping and while I understand this started during Covid, most hotel have gone back to offering daily housekeeping. We had to ask for our trash to be emptied multiple times and each time it was treated as an inconvenience. Same with asking for towels; with 4 people in a room and no where to hang towel to dry we needed to ask for towel numerous times. There was no bedding in the room for the pullout sofa bed and we had to ask for that. Staff seemed put out by the request. The pool area had no towels available and when we asked at the front the staff member again seemed bothered. To clarify, I asked for one towel per person in my party. Every trash can on property was overflowing and went the majority of the day without being emptied. During breakfast, food was empty and not refilled. Breakfast lasts until 9:30 and this was at 8:45.No coffee was available and the breakfast attendant was on their cell phone. I waited until 9:25 to see if more food would be available before leaving for breakfast elsewhere. There is no restroom at the pool and in the past the lobby restrooms were always available. Now they are kept locked and you need to request a key from the front.

Not very clean. There was debris on the floor next to the bed. Carpet was not in very good shape. They charge for parking, but I do not recall seeing that info on the Travelocity websit when booking.
