Go to Colombo every year and not coming back here
Rooms very nice but service very amateur. Dozens of staff hanging around doing nothing in the lobby whilst 3 staff tried to do a breakfast that left food cold, orders not arriving and generally chaotic and substandard. Ten (yes really) bar staff also managed not to be remotely efficient although were pleasantly less than competent. Fine for a short business stay if you aren’t going to be in the hotel much but plenty of much better hotels for holidaymakers in Colombo- go there
