A hotel would typically have restaurants OPEN. This one, even in June has the garden shut down. The room smelled from the “smoking allowed” years. The AC was so run down it sounded like inside a 2nd World War bomber. We had to shut it down and take hotter temps for being able to sleep. One good thing: Without even asking, being with a 12 year old, they had added a 3rd bed. We would try not to go back to this facility and rather take the extra 15 mins to go to the center of Madrid with nice restaurants etc.

Rooms, staff and breakfast were great. Unfortunately, free shuttle does not hold many people, fills up fast and then you are on your own. The shuttle should run more frequently if more hotel guests need it. We paid for a taxi.
