No hot water because of full house and heating did work. Window unit shut off after 2 minutes. Room was ok, but strange gurgling sounds in walls. Bed comfortable.

We found 2 machine type Drills and one metal needle in the carpet by our bed!! The complimentary Breakfast was ill prepared!! At 7:30 AM there was no coffee, the waffle maker was not turned on and was cold!! There was no Waffle syrup, even if a waffle could be made. Ice makers on 2 floors were inopetative and leaking water.. one ceiling was ruined by the water. Overall very dissapointing!! Will think twice before staying at a La Quinta again😩👎

Nice hotel close to shopping

Pros: Miniature golf and water park also close
Cons: Morning breakfast not set up well. Have go out of the area to water for oatmeal etc.
It was inexpensive , close to shopping malls and close to downtown St. Louis. Only a 10 minute drive. Also off the road, so it was in an area that was quiet.

Stay was horrible! We were put into a handicapped accessable room with the shower head at your belly button. Asked to move to another room and was told no. Water poured out of the shower from under the bathroom door into the living area space and onto the carpet in the hallway. Didn't know the water had leaked into the tile floor and slipped and fell. The carpet had molded. Room had adjoining door and the person that booked next door had a dog that scratched on the door and whined all night long. Went to look for the pool only to find out it hadn't passed inspection and was shut down indefinitely. The towels and washcloths smelled dirty. Next day bed wasn't made or trash emptied during housekeeping. Was told to call GM on Monday with complaints and GM was very rude. She stated that they advertise they have a pool, not that it's in working order. Never apologized for anything. Very poor customer service. Will never stay here again! The only thing good about this hotel was the awesome restaurant Colton's nearby.

I love this hotel. Stayed here many times. Very nice and comfortable. The General Manager is very courteous and accommodating. Only thing that needs changed is there is no brewed coffee. It comes from a machine. Not good. But overall total win for any traveler.

Great location to visit st louis

Hotel staff were great, continental breakfast was better than most. Room amenities were good, temperature control had easy light access and was easy to use, alarm clock was easy to use. Personally i like my pillows more flat and the window curtains larger to keep all the light out, the pillow top mistresses are comfortable. I've stayed in many hotels even some of the top hotels in the world and this one rates toward the top for service, cleanliness and accommodating staff.

Hotel Staff Sleeping in Guest's Rooms

Pros: I like the upgraded style of the hotel room.
Cons: The cleanliness, and not having staff sleeping in rooms that are already occupied by guests.
Location: The location is close to restaurants, shopping and the highway.
This was my first and last time staying at this hotel. I walk into my room after bring out during the day and saw someone sleeping in my bed. The person stated they were the head housekeeper and wasn't sure how there was a mix up. She got out the bed and went to reach for my things, I told her those were mine. I left the room and came back with staff but the woman was gone. She left behind the hotel key she used to get in the room. For a woman traveling alone coming to your hotel room and finding someone in your bed who may have also went through your belongings is very scary and an invasion of privacy. I was very turned off by the front desk woman who asked me if this has ever happened to me before. This situation should never happen to anyone and I can't believe she asked such a ridiculous question.

Pros: The room was nice, once we got checked in.
Cons: Their employees
Location: Nice location. Close to St Louis
Got to the hotel on Sept 3rd at a little after 10 pm and was informed by desk clerk that they had no housekeeping all day so we would have to wait for our room to be cleaned before we could check in. Housekeeping had just arrived. Came back at almost 11:30 and while I am checking in, a man named Mike was behind the desk, too. When they checked the computer, the girl looked funny and Mike came over and they both said, "kids". I had 3 children and another adult with me. Mike told me I needed to keep my children quiet as railroad people were there. He also told me there are no pets allowed - which I did not have. He said it was common practice there to tell me to keep their kids quiet. He was extremely rude and dismissive when questioned. The next morning, the manager was there and I explained to her what had happened. This is not common practice for them and she was extremely upset as she had heard complaints about this man all morning.

Hotel was ok ...housekeeping was inconsiderate and very rude and first night we were there did not even clean our room had to put our trash outside door ..lady at front counter acted like she didn't care and had no concern with any issues we had...I would not recommend this hotel
