We stayed at The Betsy for 3 nights and at first we were so very unhappy, our room got messed up and we got placed in the city side and it was so miserable and loud I didn't sleep and was not happy. They got us our correct room the following night, relocated all of our luggage so we didn't have to worry. I was a little unhappy with the service at first because we are young and they didn't seem to take us serious until they saw us in the Lamborghini. The manager, Hailey, sent me a text message to check on our stay and met with me to discuss our displeasure. She was AMAZING after speaking with her the staff was fantastic, accommodating and attentive. She comped us a night and some of our food and the rough start turned out to be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The food for breakfast was large and amazing, they have the cutest little condiments, the dinner was great (if you have steak just don't forget to bring your own A-1). They had a fantastic musician playing the piano that was so relaxing. The valets were amazing they held an umbrella for my wife to the door when it was raining and were always quick and nice. It may be pricey but worth it. The hotel was BEAUTIFUL and has amazing artwork. The rooms are modern and clean (wish the windows opened up on the ocean side to enjoy the outside a little bit in the morning and during quiet times.) but non the less the view was breathtaking. When we go back I will always look to stay here first. it is HIGHLY recommend

Great Place. Staff is exceptionally polite and friendly. Located in a best part of South Beach. Located on Ocean drive just a short walk to the beach where beach chairs and umbrellas and towels are all waiting for you. Nice park across the street with palm trees and playground for kids and workout area with equipment and vendors. Lots of amenities in the Hotel: a library, a very nice cafe, a rooftop and courtyard pool, a photo gallery, restaurant, all very well done. Also the live music in the lobby is different every night and very well chosen. You don't need to go anywhere for entertainment. Very nice hotel where you are made to feel very at home for the week or however long you are staying there.
