Very close to FedEx Field

Pros: I liked the location. The room itself was very nice and recently remodeled.
Cons: We couldn't get the wifi to work, but was no big deal.
Location: FedEx field is about a mile away, shopping center/Dave and Busters a few miles away too.
This was our second time staying at this hotel. The recent renovations are very nice. FedEx Field is a little over a mile away. It is close enough that you could walk if you wanted to, but there is a shuttle service provided for $15 round trip per person. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. There was a continental breakfast that offered way more than we expected. Shopping center and Dave and Busters is just right down the road. The staff was all very friendly.

Construction Noise!

Pros: The beds were very comfortable.
Location: FedEx Field and highway was easy to get to.
At check in they had me in a smoking room and I reserved a non smoking room. They moved me to a non smoking room and our sliding door would not open, the carpet was coming up, it clearly had not been vacuumed recently, it was outdated and the toilet constantly ran. I had my 2 kids with me so one thing I always look for when traveling with them is that breakfast be included with our stay. Well it was, however, it was from 6-9 a.m. I would have liked to see breakfast out a little later! Considering we were up late at a FedEx Field event. Between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. construction workers were throwing things into large dumpsters right outside of our room waking us up. NOT HAPPY about that! Lastly, there was a pool advertised but was closed due to the construction! One more thing...the coffee (to me) was terrible!

Find another motel!

Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: No free Internet, very poor customer service.
Keep searching if you are looking for something in the DC area. Check-in was slow because desk person was occupied dealing with her child, who kept interrupting. It was obvious that he was the priority, not the customer. Wifi didn't work. called the desk, they said there was nothing they could do. I asked them for a tech support number, they said there wasn't one. went down to the lobby and wifi worked there. Went back to room, wife found the tech support number in a binder on the desk. Called them, they rebooted the router in my area of the motel and we had Internet for 2 hours, then it went out gain. No help from desk again, tech support said it wouldn't reboot remotely this time, he was going to call the motel and have them unplug it from the wall and restart it. The motel never did this. Very poor service. Not enough towels for 2 people, they wouldn't bring towels, had to go get them. Bed was uncomfortable, we both had sore backs and necks the next morning.

Hotel staff very responsive

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Cleanest bathroom I've seen in a budget hotel. Hotel manager was extremely responsive when I found an unidentifed bug in my room. He immediately switched me into another room, checking it first. Bathrooms in both rooms were spotless. I did note that in the original room there were stains on the arm chair--stained furniture seems to be a trend in budget hotels. Travelers--how about a little more consideration for fellow guests?

An exceptional Comfort Inn

I stayed at the Comfort Inn Fedex Field two weeks ago. It was absolutely the best Comfort Inn I have stayed at. The room was spotless, carpets were clean, towels were white and soft, etc. The staff was extremely helpful, and there is a shuttle to take you to the metro station and pick you up at night. The breakfast room was large enough, and we never had to wait to get breakfast. There was only one waffle iron, so if you wanted a waffle, you had to wait a few minutes. But there was plenty of other things to eat with no wait at all. Would I stay again. Definitely! Would I recommend it to a friend -- already have!

Cheap but not a good value

I am not usually a harsh critic, but I just can't recommend this hotel. The low price and closeness to attractions is not worth the poor housekeeping. Upon entering our room we were greeted with fresh water rings on the bedside tables, chicken bones left in the trash can, and worst of all, someone else's hair in the shower! Housekeeping also failed to replenish basic supplies such as tissues, plastic cups, and clean towels. Surely there must be an alternative establishment nearby for under $* per night which is also clean.

Stay Away

Do not stay here. The people were of no help when we needed things. The 2nd day the room was never made up. We ask for at least new towels and we were told the linens were locked up. The hairdyer didnt work nor the ice maker. Hotel was stuffy( very little air condition unless you were in your room). The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable.. We thought it was just us but we talked to other people in the elevator( which was slow as molasses) and we heard even more horror stories( no blankets for pull out, room also not made up). Do I need to say more?? Dont say I didnt warn you

worst hotel ever!!!!

staff was unhelpful and rude, yelled at my kids 2x. horrible area, not really safe. no good restaurants in area. housekeeping is HORRIBLE.
