A great place to stay.

We did not get a chance to take a dip in the pool, but all the other amenities were good. The hotel was close to our venue. If we had more time to spend there, I/we would.

Pros: Close to Fedex Stadium and free shuttle to stadium
The hotel states they are 100% non smoking but we were assigned to a room that was smoke filled. The employees are all unprofessional. After a long drive and no line to check in we manage to wait nearly 10-15 min to check in since the reception felt like being chatty with coworkers and personal phone calls were more important. My boyfriend had 5 bed bug bites on his stomach and legs. I had 2 on my legs.

Nice stay

Avi hotel provided me with a comfortable stay. The staff was pleasant and helpful . I wanted to stay at a hotel which provided breakfast. Avi had it. I wanted a pool for my grand kids. Avi had it. I wanted a hotel that was economical. Avi provided that. There was some renovation going on, but that's progress. Overall, I would book a reservation there again.

Horrible experience

My first room door would nit close and sink wouldn't drain the second one door had to be slammed and the hallways were not renovated baseboards were missing and they had the nerve to charge over 100 a night.

OK hotel for the price.

Pros: The breakfast, close proximity to a metro, and no transfer on the metro if going to the Smithsonian stop.
Cons: Noise proof the room; possibly add a continuous fan on the air system to help block noise.
Location: An outdoor mall with mid to low range/quality eating establishments. Questionable area.
Good Breakfast. Easy access to the metro, but if you plan on parking there leave early enough to find a parking spot. We had a room that had an adjoining door, and unfortunately we could hear EVERYTHING the next door guest was saying! Refrigerator smelly and loud. A police car was parked outside the hotel all evening, and after driving around locally, we understood why. The surrounding area was questionable. For the price, it's a decent hotel for one night.

Nice hotel for the price.

Pros: Friendly staff. Convenient Shuttle
Cons: The rooms need new air conditioners. Bring a fan.
Location: Very close to the last Metro stop on the East side of DC. The shuttle will pick you up and take you to the Metro and local restaurants, stores, movie
The hotel staff were very friendly. The shuttle driver was very friendly and helpful taking me to the Metro Station and places to eat. I enjoyed the pool but it is only open from 2 pm to 9 pm, but they do have a lifeguard present. My only complaint is that the air conditioners did not work in the rooms. I wouldn't recommend staying here during the Summer or if the temperature is going to be above 80 degrees.

Not what i booked

Pros: The location.
Cons: Customer service and maid service.
Location: Fed ex stadium is nearby which is the reason for my trip.
Checked in was given the room key. Walked in the room immediately smelled of musty smoke. Also the fact that we booked a king bed and the room was double bed room was a deal breaker. Went to the desk the clerk said they were booked solid. I showed her my confirmation and she said that they didn't have any king rooms it was 1st come basis. I asked that a discount be applied and she informed me that they did not guarantee the size of bed in the room. All hotels were occupied that night so we could not change. We slept in an uncomfortable room with no trashcans anywhere, We flushed a roach down the toilet, and the room smelled of smoke. They did not care about the reservations or the condition of the room..

Very friendly and professional staff

Pros: Free breakfast, Quiet, indoor heated pool, close to metro
Cons: ice machine was broken
We were visiting D.C. with the kids while they were on break from school. We wanted a hotel that was close to a Metro station, had an indoor pool and complimentary breakfast. This hotel delivered. Very friendly staff. Let us check in early since the room was ready. The van driver drove us to the Metro station, about 1 mile away, at 6:30am. Breakfast started at 6am, which was great. We might try and stay a little closer to the National Mall next time, but the price for hotels goes up the closer you get. This Hampton Inn was perfect for our needs.

Classy, budget-friendly place to stay that is close to the city...

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
My niece and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Hampton Inn. It was conveniently located to the Metro, and though we could take the complimentary shuttle to it, we mostly chose to walk. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning and the pool most evenings. The staff was wonderful, very accommodating to our requests. And in all honesty, this is the first time I stayed at a hotel that had a bed that was more comfortable than my own! One night they had a newly released movie with popcorn and punch in the banquet room and another night they had hor dourves and light refreshments. I know we saved quite a bit of money than if we had stayed closer to the mall, and it was only a 20 minute ride to the Capitol area. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to D.C.

first time staying

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: Nothing close
This was my first time staying at a hampton inn . and i reaily enjoyed it. Me and my wife had decided to take a train trip from Pittsburgh pa to largo Md to visit our daughter whom recenly got hired by the TSA and had to relocate to the area . The train trip was our second of the year and we decided to stay at the hampton inn as it was less than two (Dc/Md )blocks from her apartment. the room was nice and clean and my only complaint was that it was a hadicapp room . ii did enjoy the breakfact , the the scrammble egg bagel were excelent . My daughter pregnant and and going to have a baby in May and because she lives in a one bedoroom apartment we will probaly stay at the hamton inn again. hopefully i can fine some discount coupons . see you soon.
