poor staff help

The bathroom exhaust fan didn't work and when I called the front desk, they were no help at all, and I could tell there was no concern at all. Dirty front walkway with gum spots all over it and a smoked pot roach on the front walk way as well. The front desk is behind bullet proof glass which didn't make me fell very safe in the area. I did think the bathroom was very nice A+, room was an A as well.

I was very disappointed room not being clean

I did not want to sleep in the bed due to stain sheets and food left in the bed from precious occupant. I paid to much for that room to be insecure about the cleaniness

no amenities

Pros: room was clean
Cons: eveything else
Location: no idea.
walled of check in desk with bullet proof glass made me wish I could have left. No coffee in AM.? I though it came with a breakfast room smelled like a smoking room. I guess enforsing the non smoking rules were not important.

Stupendous/Awesome/Fantastic stay for all ages:

My family would recommend this motel/hotel for any style of traveler… young, business, family, or senior. These are the accommodations for you! I cannot believe how impressed I am with this Days Inn, in Lanham, MD (zip: 20706). It is unlike any Days Inn you have ever experienced. This is a five star hotel with an economical price (for the Washington DC area). We are talking: flat screen TV; plenty of outlets (for your electronics); two tables, three chairs, two beds, refrigerator, microwave; marble top amenities in the updated bathroom (check out the picture of the fancy shower); quiet air conditioner that keeps you exceptionally comfortable. You can tell I am not use to staying in lavishness, since I am extremely budget conscience; therefore, getting all these “goodies” within my price range, was a real treat! Don’t pass this up if you are in the Washington DC area! We are here for our granddaughter’s Naval Academy seminar. (Unable to upload the picture.)

Basic motel

Cons: no breakfast, didn't feel safe walking
I had high expectations for this Days Inn from previous reviews. When Igot the first thing that worried me was the bulletproof glass at the counter. I thought maybe I was arriving at night it was up but they have it up all the time. Check in was OK. Try to get info about the Metro stop and where it was. Clerk gave me vague info of location. I walked outside to see if you can walk to the Metro. I did not venture out to long. The area did not look safe . there were When parking the car I saw they had a security gate that was broken. I wonder if the place is in a high crime area. I did no feel safe for my car. This is the first Days inn that provides NO breakfast.there is a restuarant that no one used whe I was there. There are 2 fast food places in walking distance. The best part of staying here was the rooms. Very nice the Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked and clean. There is a railroad behind the back of the motel so if you are a light sleeper it could be a problem. The metro is a short 5 minute ride. You can not walk to it

Comfortable Basic Accomodations

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet, decent value, clean
Cons: no breakfast
Only complaint is that they advertise a breakfast but,in fact, they do not offer one. Other than that the place was clean, quiet and comfortable. It's a short ride to the Metro which was convenient. Also close to I-95 and I-495. I found this place to be a good value for the dollar when all you want is a nice basic room. Found nothing glaringly wrong with the hotel and would stay there again

Excellent value for travel to D.C.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
This Days Inn is in a rapidly developing area between College Park, MD and Washington DC. Easy access to the Beltway but you don't need to drive. The New Carrollton Metro station is barely 5 minutes away and it has a park and ride lot. The hotel restaurant was not completed when we stayed, but you could walk down the service road to Red Lobster or fast food. More options within a short drive.

Cons: Noisy
I had a good experience at Days Inn-Lanham, so I can't complain. The room was clean and nice, very well-kept. The only thing was the staff couldv'e been a little bit more friendlier, and faster with check out.
