Not the best in town

Room wasn't clean and toilet was broken. Beds were comfortable though.

Nice Hotel

Pros: Everything
Location: We were staying here before moving into our new house so it was not a holiday but it did give us easy access to places and stores we wanted to see.
The rooms were large clean with the beds and pillows very comfortable. Front staff was very nice and very approachable. Heard horror stories about the parking but except for one night Saturday was not a problem getting a stall and even then there was always somewhere to park. Would stay here again.

3rd Floor Nightmare

This hotel was a huge disappointment. Not only was the water park closed but it was extremely noisey and the hot water was luke warm at best. The water park was advertised as closed for annual maintenance from October 1st to November 15th. We arrived on November 26th and were told it had been closed since September 3rd and woiuld not reopen until December 3rd! Three months for maintenence!?!? We stayed in a room and listened to kids running and yelling in the hall for several hours., At 10:30 p.m.we called the front desk to ask them to address the noise. I'm not sure anyone from the hotel even investigated as the noise continued unabated. At 11:30 and 11:45 p.m p.m. I exited my room and asked both kids and adults to keep the noise to a mnimum. It was several more hours before things were quiet. When we departed at 8:30 a.m. the following morning, there were empty beer cans and fast food bags strewn about in a small sitting area at the end of the hall. Obviously, hotel staff did not follow up on the noise complaint or they would have seen what was going on. Apparently, this hotel caters to minor hockey teams in the winter months, and it would appear they seem to get preferenrial treatment.This is not really an issue but why put families on the same floor? To top thnings off the shower was cold. To say the hot water was tepid would be an overstatement! When I raised my concerns at checkout I was offered an upgrade on a future stay. I would have accepted a free future stay so they could prove to me our stay was an anomally, but I am not going to be a guinea pig at my expense.
