Staff service and room insulation from outside noise was the worse. Heard every truck or car on the road while trying to get to sleep. Finally put ear plugs in to be able to cut down the noise to a manageable volume. Also front desk gave me a room by the elevator initially, when I asked to be moved they put me next to the highway. The next morning I asked for a receipt for the payment and they said I needed to contact the third party for that as they do not offer the receipts. I asked for a receipt for the $50 ‘hold’ they had me charge for incidentals when I checked in. When I checked out and asked for that receipt they said I needed to get it from the third party as well. Even though the hotel ran the hold on the card themselves. Apparently asking for receipts from the morning front desk person annoyed them as well and said that decision on giving receipts was up to management.I Would not recommend anyone staying at this hotel.

Thank you for taking your time to tell us about your stay. I'm sorry to hear about the issues that happened during your stay with us. Any third party reservations that are prepaid get receipts emailed to them and the if there are no charges to the room then there would be no receipt for the incidentals since there are no charges. Preauthorization's wouldn't have a receipt since it is returned to the card unless there were charges. Sorry the front desk agent wasn't able to explain that. We appreciate the feedback and will use it to better train our staff. Thank you.

We stay her at Christmas each year and love this hotel. This year room cleaning seemed to be an issue as on day 2 room was cleaned but numerous items (tissues,cups,coffee) were not replenished. Two other days the room was not cleaned at all but staff was helpful each time in supplying needed towels and replacement of consumable items. I have to assume this was an issue with an individual since overall everything else was excellent and we love staying there and will definitely go back.

quiet hotel

Pros: location
Cons: restaurant, food choice. menu. opening hours and closing hours.
Location: nothing.
I wish the hotel's restaurant open much earlier before dinner hour, and serve different food. the food seems ready made from packages. except breakfast. Hope they will have a real restaurant or diner style restaurant soon. The food is getting boring.

It would be nice if the hotel restaurant open longer hours and provide much earlier breakfast. there isn't any restaurants close by. without some driving. and the food are always same from Holidays Inn "set menu" nothing new. and all seems from frozen and re-heat food sell for over $15 average.... they need to have a real restaurant and bar in the hotel. to accommodate their customer who needs breakfast before 5am and who eat dinner or have drinks before 5pm....

Needs more than just renovation

We stayed one night - August 13th - and that was quite enough. Possibly the worst hotel stay in my life. The front desk clerk was pleasant enough, but it was downhill from there. Signs noted "pardon our dust" for renovation, but there were no visible signs of improvements or ongoing work. Even the lobby looked shabby and dated. At the two elevators, we waited some time before one opened - completely filled by a large blue bin left by housekeeping, with virtually no room for guests. Finally we reached our room, which was just barely adequate but again, very dated and very shabby. Later that evening, we returned to the hotel after a thunderstorm and found water leaking from the roof near the elevators. Rain had also somehow come in through the window of our room, soaking the carpet in that area, although the windows were closed and locked. The final insult came as we were leaving in the morning, as we found a gaggle of housekeeping staff, including someone who appeared to be a supervisor with clipboard, holding court in front of the elevators. They seemed oblivious to the fact that they were blocking our way, although our suitcases in tow clearly signaled to even the most dense observer that we were on our way out. "Excuse me", I loudly implored, before they could be bothered to step aside. One then asked quite ignorantly, "Are you going up or down?" Well let's riddle this one out Batman: Guests heading from a room to the only elevator with suitcases...hmmm...you've got a 50/50 shot, which one do you think? Deplorable conditions, indifferent and rude staff (front desk clerk the sole exception); it was so nasty I didn't even bother to take a shower. Do NOT stay at this dump.
