Location great, room not so much
The good: room was clean, bed was comfortable. Staff was very nice. Location is very good. The bad: Walls are paper thin. We were by the pool and could hear the music enough to sing along during the pool hours every day, 8 am to 10 pm. Could also hear our neighbors talking if they raised their voice at all. Shower is the size of a coat closet and didn't have hot water on two occasions, most likely because so many people were using it. Ceiling was cracked and peeling. Towels were rough. The hotel rooms are so monotone and uninviting. Some new carpet, a patterned wallpaper and some better wall decor would work wonders. Hallway carpet was so dark and dingey. Parking is expensive. TLDR: If all you care about is location and that the room is clean this hotel is a fine choice. However, it is not a very true Hawaii experience and needs a lot of upgrading.
