I was really excited to stay at this property. I loved that they offered compline breakfast. The rooms are quite dated and could use a facelift. The most disappointing part was that on our last night, the room smelled so musty that it was nearly unbearable. I asked the front desk attendant to come in and smell it and she agreed that it was bad. She said “i will make a note” on your account. No one ever followed up with us. The odor was beyond awful. The air also didn’t work properly. Maintenance had to come and fix it. If you are looking for something up to date, this is not the place to go.

Burst of hot water in slippery shower with no mat caused me to move. I pulled a muscle in my side and hurt my toe. I was told there was no medical kit on the property. I asked for a bag of ice and propped up my foot while eating dinner. From check-in to injury all staff was indifferent to my problem.

The hotel staff was great! The parking was great! The room was great! The service at the restaurant Tug"s was the worst I have experienced in many years of travel!!!!!!. The service was so bad we will never stay at your hotel again

Everything was great. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was top shelf. Room was clean and very comfortable.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

My husband and I were down for the weekend preceding a conference at the Peabody, which didn't have a room available on Friday. We thought we'd try the River Inn to experience a different part of town, and were so glad we did! The hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent, and no one should miss Paulette's popovers, dessert crepes, or warm breakfast croissants! I also used the gym, located at the end of a residential block, which was great. They are renovating their rooftop bar, so we weren't able to have a drink there, but did check out the space and suspect it will be wonderful when finished. We walked just a few blocks and took the trolley to downtown for $1, which was also fun.
