This place is not pleasant or friendly and I would not bring kids here. There were crack pipes in the parking lot and the entire floor we stayed on smelled of smoke of all kinds. The room looked ok at first glance but then we notice the burn holes in the bedding, and the dirty towel behind the bathroom door and that the bathroom door did not close because it was broken, the shower head stood at 5ft and was 20in wide, and then we noticed a drawer was stuck upside down.. The staff was not helpful or polite in any way. I asked for a cot for our son to sleep on, requested upon booking, was told they could not do it for us tonight and would do it tomorrow. Then the next evening I asked again for it and was told it would be a while before they could get it and that it would be extra, ok, then hours past and I called the front desk again and they said it would be 15 min, the man who delivered the bed asked for payment immediately and I told him he could charge my card and he said he could not do that so I said I would be down to pay shortly. My husband came in the lobby and the man said "hey! You need to pay for the bed." This man then proceeded to try and charge for 3 night when we did not have it the first night, then try and charge us $5 extra a night because we were not paying cash and it did not state that anywhere on the paper he kept saying the price was on. The breakfast bar was a joke, half a package of bagles some mini muffins and a quarter pitcher of oj and apple juice.

One of the worse hotels I've ever been in.

Disappointed with picture. Not what pictured.

Pros: Room had a fridge

Cons: Breakfast, clean the place up. Very shady area.

Location: Near Gurnee Mills mall.

The sign is ripped, it was a Days Inn,which would of been fine. The motel speed like Marijuana in the hallway. There were people hanging out in the parking lot. I did not feel safe or secure. I slept with my clothes on. Both ice machines were broke, the owner would go to their room to get you a cup of ice. ( I needed to fill a cooler). The room was fine, just warn. They didn't even have a pen in the desk. Breakfast was a joke. No juice , only coffee and warm milk for the boxes of cereal or donuts from jewel (yes, still in the package). If they didn't have my credit card from online purchase, I would have left.

Was a tight budget type hotel.

Cons: Continental breakfast could be a wider variety.

Location: Six Flags

Wasn't as close to Six Flags as stated and a little out of the way. Didn't seem like an amazing neighborhood. No coffee pot in the room, no elevator, just offered cereal and toast for continental breakfast and water temperature fluctuated from cold to hot while showering. But room was clean, and didn't notice any smoking residue in the halls as stated by others. Was okay for a late night out and just needing somewhere to sleep.

Good staff dirty rooms

Bed/ sheets/washing towels/were nasty stained and had smell on them. Felt very unclean. No elevator so we had to go up 2 flights with our luggage. But very friendly staff. Will stay again if hotel gets cleaned very well

major problems with the establishment

Cons: clerk didnt understand english

i try t be short...first the clerk at the counter gave me bad directions to the hotel...then he just gave me my room key and say bye..i didnt have any idea where by room was.. my bed had only one sheet on it ...i always have two...come on.... i dont want to sleep with the blanket that someone else had used on me... i use two sheets at home..i expect that when i travel too...there were ...and probably still are a six pack of beer bottles at the side entrance to the building..they were there when i checked in...they were there when i left...no clean up whatsoever...
