Very happy with everything about this hotel except for the fact that instead of the usual $50-$100 per day "hold charge" typiclly charged by a hotel in the event that you should charge anything to your room - this hotel put a hold against my card of almost $550. dollars PER DAY on my card in addition to the daily rate room charge. When I noticed this exorbitant charge to my card, and mentioned something to the front desk staff, he just kinda shrugged it off and said the charge varies and that all he could do is mention it to accounting for me. I asked him to please do that, as by then I had already stayed one night and not charged anything to the room. Unfortunately, nothing seems to have been done. In fact, I don't even know if he ever spoke to the accounting department? There was no follow up call to my room and as of now, after checking out, I am still waiting for the charges to fall off my card. :( I find this ridiculous and very unfortunate. I travel often and have never had a hold charge for more than 100. per day placed on my card before. So for what was supposed to be a 2 night stay totaling a little less than a 400. I currently have a charge of almost 1500 on my card !!!!. I loved everything else about this hotel. Great location, very trendy look and feel. Clean, large rooms. I would have planned to stay here again but after the silliness of this charge, probably will not.

Pros: Perfect location, super friendly staff, quiet room.
Cons: The AC vent would rattle when turned on and was very noisy.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever

Although the hotel itself has a lovely appearance & the rooms are comfortable, you cannot sleep in them due to the nightclub on the 4th floor that is pounding the bass until the early hours of the morning. Our stay was from a Wednesday night until Saturday morning & it was awful. We did complain several times & asked to switch rooms with no accommodation. We stayed on the 6th floor. The night crew at the front desk on Thursday was not customer service oriented. We inquired as to how late the breakfast buffet in the adjoining restaurant was open & received a response of "I don't know". This was our first & last stay in this hotel. We frequent the Chicago area because of family & like to try different places. This one sucks!
