Indoor pool was awful

Pros: Rooms were spacious and in a good location
Cons: Pool area
Liked the hotel but if you yourself want to swim or have children planning to swim in the pool I would reconsider. The pool area had no ventilation. It was so hot and humid in the room you could not breath. The chlorine in the air was so strong that none of us could stay to swim. Our eyes turned beet red and teared up as if we were having a good cry.

Nice hotel in a perfect location

Pros: Price was reasonable and the location was perfect. Incl. breakfast was great as well as microwave & refrigerator in room.
Cons: Needed a few more toiletries.
Location: Great location. Within walking distance to many desirable Chicago activities; River, Grant Park & The Bean, N. Mich Ave shopping, Navy Pier
Staff very friendly and check-in process very efficient. The room was exactly as advertised, no surprises or disappointments.

Hotel lobbies under construction… I mean drywall and dust. The room rate was a bit high for the lack of atmosphere.

Nice hotel, close and inexpensive

The valet guys were the best at giving directions, getting cabs and answering questions.

Great Hotel

This hotel was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. We went during Lollapalooza so it was busier for them but it didn't change our experience. Parking was a bit expensive but it was attached to the hotel and for how busy the city was this weekend, it met our needs.

Not Close to Soldier Field

Pros: The staff
Cons: make breakfast available longer when the hotel is very busy. Sometimes it took the elevator well over 20 minutes to get us down.
Location: Harry Carray, Rockitt's, and a number of enjoyable places are nearby.
The mileage from Soldier Field according to Travelocity was under a mile and a half, but it turned out to be about a two hour walk and over three miles. This became a problem and we had to rely on Uber and cabs which drove up the already extraordinary price of our trip to see the final Grateful Dead shows. The staff was great and this was a wonderful location for nightlife, dining, and the like. I would stay there again, but the pull out couch/bed is not very comfortable and the rooms would get very warm and it was not warm out the weekend I was there. So that's something to keep in mind. All in all a pretty good experience.

The most pleasant Hotel staff ever!

Pros: Location to everything is perfect. Taxi's are available if you don't want or like to walk. Breakfast was GREAT especially to be free.
Cons: Absolutely nothing. You can't go wrong staying here.
Location: Navy Pier, Union Station, Water Tower 7 story mall (American Girl doll store), Magnificent Mile, Millennium Park (the bean), theaters, shopping
We took the train to Chicago and wanted a hotel within walking distance since we wouldn't have a car. This hotel was absolutely the most pleasant stay. The staff have obviously been trained on how to treat people and act. Even the cleaning staff was pleasant. The bed was comfortable, location is perfect for walking to Union Station, Millennium Park, Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier and Water Tower Place (seven story mall). I have stayed in literally hundreds of hotels and this one was by far the most pleasant experience ever. I have told at least a dozen people about what an awesome experience it was. I was literally blown away, which is not easy to do, by the way! Management should be commended for the job they are doing with training their staff.
