Appearances are everything here

While the grounds and pool look lovely, once you scratch the surface, the veneer peels away. Staff was less than friendly on check in, more interested in getting you to participate in a sales pitch. While our room was large and inviting, it was dirty. The bathroom floors had not been washed, there was a dead bug of some nasty description next to the toilet, and cabinet doors were falling off in the bathroom. Add on to that the dirty floors in the rest of the unit. My baby pulled 3 cheetos from off the floor in the living room (we didn't have cheetos, so who knows how long they had been there). Staff reaction when informed of the situation ranged from shrugged shoulders to a lackluster sorry. No offer to send someone over to clean the nasty floors. On top of all this, staff had the gumption to keep pushing their time share for the resort. Save yourself the headache, and get a different hotel.

Great option for family

Location: Williamsburg, VA. Lots of history and beautiful countryside.
Off the road so it was very quiet. Nice for a walk. Lots to do so come prepared. Large enough for a family of 5 with adult kids.

Beautiful resort.

Pros: Everything, but the sales pitch. The condo had everything you may need for your stay - whether it is for a day or a week or two. Lots of activities.
Cons: Don't be so pushy with "sales pitch". Mention it, let people know it is there, they can decide if it something they want to do or not.
Location: Good location. Close to Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown, Norfolk and Va Beach and all sorts of shopping and other attractions.
The resort is gated and security guard on duty which is comforting. The condo itself was wonderful and the accommodations excellent, could not ask for anything nicer. Lots of activities to do at the resort and its location is close to a lot of attractions. However, it is a timeshare and the staff did try to reel us in after checking in and right before checking out. They were professional about it and my husband just had to tell them no several times before they eventually got it. It was quiet until upstairs guests arrived and their child must have hopped, skipped and jumped instead of walking, even in the middle of the night; did not hear them otherwise though. If you can put up with "sales pitch" and explaining why you are not interested, then this is a wonderful choice.

Amaizing!

Like being in pleasant Ville! I wasn't expecting a great place to be honest. We stayed in a suite and it had everything you need to cook, relax and enjoy your time . The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook (pans, dishes, utensils). Had an electric fire place in the living room and a porch.

Decent accommodations for the price

Pros: It was relatively inexpensive compared to other options.
Cons: Check in service was terrible.
The room was clean and well supplied, although I would have liked more towels. The TV reception in the living room was poor although the TV in the bedroom was a lot better. The WIFI was poor.

Close to attractions

Overall the facility was nice, clean, and private. The one major issue was at check in you are quickly given a lot of information and before you know it you are signed up for a sales pitch. They do this by offering reduced tickets to attractions. The sales people are pushy and it eats into your vacation time. If you do stay make sure you are clear that you do not want to participate in the sales pitch. Other than this it is a nice, secure place to stay. We would stay there again.

The Fourth in Williamsburg

Pros: The staff was friendly and we were not pressured by the staff to purchase a time share. There was plenty to do as well.
Cons: New carpet would be nice in the rooms and the stairways. An elevator would have been nice since we were on the top floor.
Location: All Williamsburg attractions, Jamestown and Yorktown were within a few minutes drive. There were also many eateries and stores close by.
Greensprings Vacation Resort is a very nice property. Our room was very comfortable and provided all we needed during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with silverware, dinnerware and cooking essentials. Each room had a television and there were plenty of channels to choose from.
