I understand that things happen but when you book a hotel with a pool for your 5 year old, you tell him the entire 4 hour ride about the pool, and then show up and find out the pool is closed and you were given no warning, No notice or a discount, I feel that I should have been refunded at least a part of my stay since an ammenity promised was NOT available. We had 5 other hotels we could have chosen on the same street. Nobody offered a compensation. I called and filed a complaint with Travelocity and called Holiday Inn but both had disappointing responses - Do better Holiday Inn - Update your bookings and let your customers know ahead of time

The only thing I don’t like is you now need to request by 8:30am if you would like your room cleaned and re stocked that day.

I stayed at this hotel because I had a conference to attend close by. I plan to stay here next year. Very comfortable beds and pillows, nice black out shade that kept the room dark, clean and large breakfast dining area with lots of food choices.
