Facility on Sloan Charlotte NC

Facility needs updating. No one told me I had to request a microwave and fridge. There was one small shampoo for 2 adults. No shower cap. No lotion. Shower had an extremely loud noise. Faucet dripped. Towels were soft. Breakfast was good. Friendly person at check-in.

We are sorry you were not informed that your room type did not have a microwave and fridge. Our room descriptions on our website list the rooms that have those amenities. Hard to sleep

Business trip- lack of hot water

I was happy with the stay until I informed the staff in the morning that was shower did not have any hot water. The next morning I went to shower and the problem was never solved. I don't think they ever looked into it.

We have 2 water boilers in our hotel, one is a full back up unit, so we did verify that the water temperature was fine, so we addressed the issue directly to the room rented. This hotel is a very practical choice. We picked it because we had an early flight the next day and we avoided traffic! I thought the facilities were well kept though I could tell it was an older building. The breakfast was pretty good. I was very satisfied with the hotel.

Unsettling

The debacle that was checking in (it took 50 minutes) was, I believe, more the fault of hotels.com than La Quinta Inn. The room itself on the other hand, had an odor akin to a nursing home, which was rather unsettling. I will say that the bed was comfortable. And the shower worked....that's about it.
