Worst hotel stay ever.

Pros: It was convenient to highway 85.

Location: Close to highway 85.
The bed was harder than the floor. This is a pet friendly hotel; however, the dog in the room next to ours barked virtually non-stop from midnight until 5:30 am when they checked out of the hotel. When the woman at the front desk was told about the situation she just laughed. This is not typical of LaQuinta from my previous visits to other hotel in their chain. If I could have given this hotel negative points on the overall rating, hotel staff, and room comfort I would have. There are other hotels in the vicinity; do yourself a favor and stay at one of them.

I apologize for the discomfort you experienced. Our hotel is pet friendly and we do attempt to restrict those rooms to our first floor. Those guests also sign a pet agreement so they can be held responsible for their pet. I am unsure as to why, with our staff and security that we did not hear nor respond to a pet that was creating a disturbance for the length of time you had to endure. We are also checking why you could not reach the front desk at any time to let us know of this disturbance. Regardless, the situation could have been handled better, and be assured we will watch the tape of the interaction between you and our staff member who laughed at this event. That is not the customer service training that they have received and will be dealt with by disciplinary actions up to possible termination. While this doesn’t change what occurred I hope that you will see that this is being taken with all seriousness and actions will be taken. Again I do apologize and have responded to you directly.

Facility on Sloan Charlotte NC

Facility needs updating. No one told me I had to request a microwave and fridge. There was one small shampoo for 2 adults. No shower cap. No lotion. Shower had an extremely loud noise. Faucet dripped. Towels were soft. Breakfast was good. Friendly person at check-in.

We are sorry you were not informed that your room type did not have a microwave and fridge. Our room descriptions on our website list the rooms that have those amenities. Able to check in early prior to the Nascar race.

Pros: Cleanliness, spacious room
Cons: Wish we had a microwave. And small fridge. We had been travelling all week and carried food in a cooler. We had nothing in the room to assist us.
Location: Limited fast food nearby. Hotel seemed isolated, quiet.
We had driven up via South Carolina from Indiana for the Nascar Race. The staff had the room ready and allowed us to check in early. This gave us time to prepare for the rain delayed race and return for a great nights sleep. Having breakfast in the morning before attending the race saved us money . The room was spacious and clean. Such a great closet.

didn't arrive till 2am. check in was painless and I was in bed by 2:15. the noon checkout was just what I needed to get some sleep.

Late night stay.

Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Upgrade mattresses, bedding, and it could use some remodeling.
The staff are nice and friendly. The hotel smell isn't pleasing in the hallways or our room. We would have left if it wasn't so late. Our flight got in after 11 PM and we were just too tired to look for another hotel. If you have allergies or asthma don't stay here. The bedding and the mattress could have been better quality. We've stayed in many different hotels and this one just didn't live up to our expectations.
