Do not go

I paid for non smoker they gave a room that smelled horrible. They initially Gave me a room without water. The pool never worked. There were employees yelling and arguing and using adult language in front of minors. The key from the room was deactivated somehow and I called from my cel and waited 10 mins for the attendant to come in to help and I ended up going under the rain with my babies to get new keys and they didn't work. I had to go back under the rain with my babies and get another key that didn't work. The manager refused to give me a credit instead said will give me a discount for my next visit.....really??!!! Do u think I want to g o back there. There were 4 women selling their services outside and a guy doing number one next the trashcans under the steps. Reallg?! Come on. Don't go it's nasty and awful

Stay for emergencies only

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless its an emergency and you need it for one night. I had specifically booked the hotel bc of the indoor pool (which is quite small) and we were not allowed to use it the 2 nights we stayed bc it was being cleaned. on a weekend? If you need towels, you have to go to the laundry area and ask the cleaning staff for some. They will not bring anything to your room or give extra pillows etc. The "Breakfast" was just cereal, juice, coffee. The milk was a jug and not individually packaged. Anyone could put anything in it. The room itself needed some fixing. Every time we sat on the toilet it would move. The bathroom is timed on how long you can shower so make it quick before you run out of hot water or the lights automatically shut off. I will say that the beds were comfortable and that there were places near by to eat. But I will not be booking with this hotel again.

Unsatisfactory Hotel

Toilet would not flush after first use. Room wall had a 5 to 6 inch hole in it. Micro Refrigerator needed cleaned out, room telephone did not work. Television is antiquated (box like) and at first was hard to get working. People in there twenties, possibly younger, were using their hotel room for what I would consider a place to flop. I should have called the sheriffs office to investigate, possibly vice. The metal portion of the stair case was heavily rusted underneath and in my opinion needed maintenance. The sanitation grade next to the breakfast area had a grade of either 85 or 87 posted on the wall, fruit loops were still under the cereal dispenser. I believe I paid $97.00 for the first night. I didn't stay in the hotel a second night as planned. One man was checking our when I was checking in. He said his beds had not been made up and he was leaving. The hotel was not corporate owned but ran by a private management company. Anyway, I'll never stay at any hotel that has less than a 4 star rating. This hotel had a two star rating. The reason I used it the hotel was that surrounding hotel prices were quite high due to events going on that weekend at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Introspect, plan ahead, book ahead. If not, move further away were the prices match a better star rating...

Older facility desparately in need of a refit. The toilet wasn't bolted to the floor. While inexpensive, a true case of "You get what you pay for..."

Be picky

Hotel was okay. The air conditioning was broken when I arrived and so was the fridge. Staff was very friendly and helpful though. Both issues fixed within the hour. There was no microwave in the room even though they said there would be. The breakfast was not very good. Overall an okay value for the price.

I have to admit being very nervous about what we were going to find. The motel is dated and not in the best area but everything was very clean and every time we left or returned we saw a police car in the area..also motel area was well lit. Had no problems and would stay again. Would rather spend my money on my grandchildren than a more expensive motel.

Hotel was not very good, but price was really good. Could hear people and dogs in other rooms. Microwave control not working correctly. Coffeemaker was strange and make lousy coffee. All appliances and some bulbs disconnected when we arrived. Breakfast was inadequate. On the other hand, it was across street from 3 restaurants, the room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Located close to interstate.

Hotel Manager was awesome

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for somewhere cheap and has a great location. The Hotel manager was awesome, our reservation got screwed up and he solved the problem effortlessly. The rooms were fine to us, we weren't there to stay in the rooms though! The beds were alright, not the comfiest but not the worst. My only issue was there was no mini-fridge in one of our rooms :(

Not bad, we're visiting again

Hotel was okay, pool was very nice, staff left much to be desired. The pool closed at 10, and we went swimming at 9:00. First, the worker was on a long phone call, so she just waved us towards the pool, did not offer to help. We got to the pool and apparently we were making too much noise, so she shut the door on us to keep talking on her call. At 9:30, she shut the lights off in the pool area to apparently get us out of the pool in time for her to close. We got out, and as we waked past her about 9:35, she was still on the phone. However, pool was nice and room wasn't bad...

All in all the place was good, the heat didnt work to good nor was the vending. I would stay again tho, the place wasn't bad at all, besides that. Like most others, pool hours could be extended.
