This may have been the worst hotel I have ever been in. Three tries to get a room where key worked. Bathroom was dirty. Light bulbs missing. Smoke detector falling from ceiling. Refrigerator not working. No cups. Only 1 towel. Dead batteries in TV remote. Dog poop outsid room - never picked up. Need I say more?

Staff was friendly and customer oriented. However the conditions and state of the room was horrid. I took pictures to post to my blog. Cockroaches in the tub on the counter and coming out of the outlet that had no cover. vent above tub had lint dangling from it. Urine stains and dirt around base of toilet. Fist hole in back of bathroom door. Sink in bathroom would not drain due to blockage that was clearly there for some time. Black mold on door of refrigerator. When I asked for cups, plates and silverware there was none to have. Nor where there blankets. People where allowed to smoke just outside there rooms, though it was a no smoking space. Cabinets where missing doors and some where warped and trim was pealing away.

The outside of the building is very nice. The rooms not so much. I had to switch rooms Bc the door to enter the room was malfunctioning. Once inside that room the drawer was broke. The tv didn’t work. The bathroom knob was broke. It smelled horrible. Cabinets were broke as well. So we switched. The second room someone had punched a hole in the bathroom door. The carpet was filthy. But I assumed it was more livable. Boy was I wrong. The shower rod had a curve in it to the curtain point that it did not close. It just stayed in the middle. The worst part is Roaches started coming from everywhere. I got home and shook my bags and roaches came out. I have a brand new home and this would’ve been a major problem Had I not taken that last step. I know after all those issues that I deserve a full refund.

The room had a smell to it. Found a dead roach in cabinet above sink. Found live roach in clothes draws! No ice machine on site

I drove 3 hours just for them to tell me I can’t stay here because I’m a SC resident. And they kept the money I payed for the room. Very bad customer service and policies.

If you have a id qith a lical address on it (within) 50 miles if hotel you wont be syaying here. I had reservation already paid and was turned away. Staff was rude and unhelpful.
