Lovely setting in the valley with 3-4 blocks surrounding a nice garden area. Key activities are wildlife, especially finding the beautiful and rare Quetzal or walking in the rain forest. Restaurant is good, nice fire for cool evenings

Highly recommended for bird photographers.
A big negative is the steep rough road that leads down the mountainside; typically one lane and very bad condition. Not the hotel's fault of course.
