We loved the view as it was high above the Columbia River, the grounds appeared to be nicely maintained and had at least two pet areas for dogs. When we got in our room however I was very disappointed... It seriously needed a major upgrade. In the bathroom the toilet sat so low to the ground you had to grab the bathroom counter to ease up and down safely. There were grab bars in the bath tub but appeared to be where they were used for towel racks. In the room itself the chairs sat rather low, making it very difficult to get in and out of with a disability. The heater control in the room had pretty much all the information on heat temps worn off the dial. So began the game of guess work of hot or cold. The bed was so soft it was almost spongy and not a very well supported bed. Plus it was very low to the ground, making it somewhat awkward to get out of. And in this day and age the majority of people who travel usually have few chargers they bring with them, and since it was me and my husband, we had to search for places for four chargers. So basically, we had to plug into the bathroom, one in a small open closet and the other had to be run by the patio door. I don't remember if we requested a ADA compliant room, which is what we normally do as we have some physical issues. If this is their idea of ADA complient think they need to reread the manuel.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. The room type you booked, is our only ADA room. Because we are an older property, and have yet to do major renovations on that building, that room is actually grandfathered in with older ADA requirements. We do provide a shower chair and a toilet seat riser upon request. Our employees do not cover any grab bars, we have towel racks that are used for that purpose. I will pass along your comments about the chairs and bed to the owners.
