We absolutely loved our stay. It’s sad that check in is already so late 4pm and we were able to get our room keys till 4:46 on a Monday. I wish they would have let us in at 4pm or accommodated us for this. Beautiful resort hope to return and this not be the issue again.

The property as a whole is beautiful with a lot of fun options and wonderful pools to relax by. My kids loved the playground and the ping pong tables. Unfortunately we weren’t very happy with our condo. It wasn’t super clean, needed some work (paint peeling, stained walls, cupboards broken, carpet fraying, etc), and did not come well stocked as it should have. There wasn’t a single knife, butter or otherwise, and no pool friendly cups. The pool gate was broken, the ice machine never had ice, and the store was incredibly overpriced. The person who checked us in was nice but the other staff were not. This was our second time staying with the Welk and I don’t think we’ll be back.

The accommodations were nice. The appointments made staying at the resort convenient. The house cleaning staff was noticeably short handed. After two days some showed up at the door and waited there while we went around and collected the trash and dirty towels. After a week week called to have some come in to change linens and clean the place. It took two days to get someone to look at the kitchen sink that was backed up. Apart from the staffing issues, and gas prices, we enjoyed our stay.

The room was clean, quiet, and well-appointed. Fully stocked kitchenette, and great toiletries. Only issue was that during our two night stay, there was no housekeeping.

I think the property was ok, the amenities were nice, the rooms looked to be updated. But not fully renovated. My neice found what she thought was a little roach in her bed and thinks she killed it. We kept getting lost everytime we tried to go anywhere. I was disappointed at the boulder rec area. It said no outside food and drink so i threw away my water and breakfast sandwich only to find out the snack bar did not open for another 3 hours. I called the front desk for info and no one answered. Not a very good reveiw. Will probably not go back
