The pool was disgusting, it looks NOTHING like the picture. One of the dehumidifiers drain into the pool, mold and rust everywhere, only 4 chairs covered with black spots, 1 lounge chair with yellow stains on it. Inside access door locked but outside access door propped open. Light switch plates rusty and moldy. The exercise room temp set at 81 (felt like a sauna) and the phone was hanging off the wall by its cord. I guess if you passed out it would come in handy that its dangling about 1' off the floor. The smoke free room had a slight smell of smoke, and the smoke detector was churping, called front desk, they came to replace the battery, ahh, the battery had been removed from the smoke detector. Need I go on!! And I have pictures to back up all my remarks.

This property has a number of terrible reviews but has changed brands and management, and the new owners have spruced it up snd are working hard to earn customers back. Our club put on a dog show in Carrollton this wknd and Red Roof is dog friendly so many of our exhibitors (me too) stayed there. They got universal great comments from everyone, so much so that we plan to make this our host hotel next year. Quiet , clean, friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately they are not serving breakfast, and I am hoping they will add that. But the rates are a great value do you can drive down the street to Rosie’s Cafe and get a good breakfast.
